What's your favourite ready-made pizza? 🍕

DH is currently on holidays (teacher) and I'm working, so he is doing a lot of the dinners at the moment. Since his cooking is, err, limited, at least one meal a week tends to be pizza chucked in the oven and some salad alongside. We don't have any "regular" (tbh, tends to be whichever is 2-for-1, on special or whatever) but the DC are constantly saying "that one we had last week / on Monday / in April was waaaaay nicer".

So, has anyone got any recommendations? I'm sure someone's going to disapprove of feeding DC pizza but I don't think once a week hurts. No vegan/wholewheat/cauliflower options since DH the kids won't eat!

If I’m being fancy the Waitrose ones are lovely! But usually I buy aldi cheese and tomato pizzas and we add our own toppings

We haven't got an Aldi nearby, though I bet they do good ones! I'm not a fan of Goodfellas or Chicago Town and nor is DD2, but DS and DH will happily eat then

Sainsbury's, Tesco, Budgens, Morrisons. Plus I can do Co-op or Waitrose on the way home from work.

Crosta & Mollica at Waitrose or Wholefoods ready-made fresh ones, which you cook at home.

They do a stine baked ham mushroom and marscapone one in basically every shop now (co op one seems to be the best, but the have it in sainsburys, aldi and tesco that I've seen) thats really nice, also in aldi the same type but pulled beef or something.
Again aldi, their copy of domino's pizza with the stuffed crust. Dp is adamant its better than domino's, but that wouldn't be hard bot to be honest, and their loaded potato wedges are great.

Another vote for Crosta and Mollica from Waitrose (not seen them anywhere else yet). Genuinely the best ready-made pizza I’ve had.

Thanks for the Crosta & Mollica tip! Our Budgens does them too, but I always wondered if they were as good as they looked like they should be.

Oh, and we have M&S nearby too... But the expensive ones seem more expensive and the cheap ones were also more expensive and unimpressive.

Toppings reviled by the DC:
Sweetcorn (according to DD2 "not a right thing on pizza")
Pineapple
"Mouldy cheese" (blue cheese I suppose, unless we're keeping them too long...)
They are surprisingly okay with most veg and with chili. DD doesn't like "white" pizzas, if I'm using correct terminology. Ones without tomato base.

Ah, I got a slice for lunch last week. It was nice!

Another vote for the Chicago Town tomato stuffed crust. The dough is frozen uncooked, and it's surprisingly nice.
