My DH almost put the dishwasher on

Just got in and the dishwasher is 3/4 full and there are some dirty mugs on the worktop. My DH saw me filling it and he said he almost put it on. He was trying to work out if the mugs would fill it, apparently. Then he looked in the cupboard and couldn't see the dishwasher tablets.
No more to be done then. Has your partner almost done anything today?

Mine almost took the laundry out of the tumble dryer (this is an abrupt departure from his usual habit of almost putting his used swimming trunks and towel in the washing machine "because I might want to do something with it"???!!!!)

Ha. What do you use his used swimming trunks for?

Dh unloaded the dishwasher this morning and left loads of my nice glass on the side because “I don’t know where they go.” I told him where the boxes for them are and went out
He had figured it out by the time I got home.

Aw. Well done to him. Will he know where they go next time?

My husband almost bought me a present today. He saw something that he thought I might like but wasn't quite sure so he left it, and then he came home and told me about it........

Oh, how lovely. My husband never almost buys me anything!

My DP almost took the bedding downstairs to put in the washing machine..... however, the duvet was still in the cover so that completely baffled him. Bedding put back on the floor 😂😂

They’re bl....useless aren’t they? Unfortunately I have one too.....apparently everything has to be left to soak in stink before it magically gets itself into the dishwasher a few inches to the right.
I gave up years ago, mine’s a lazy tossed and he’ll never change 🤬

My DP has just announced he'd like to visit the white cliffs of Dover (he's watching Dads Army) and would I like to come with him. I said yes please are you going to book it then? DP has never in the 7 years and many many holidays since I've known him booked a trip away. He's currently trying to work out how Air BnB. I expect I will be able to confirm very soon that he 'almost' booked a holiday 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

My DH must say “I was going to do that” fifty times a day. Only he never actually does.

Dishwasher fully loaded with tablet doesn’t get switched on. Everything emptied onto side because he doesn’t know where anything goes. Doesn’t empty the food waste because there is still room for one apple core. He does transport the dirty washing upstairs but he only puts it into ‘person’ piles as again, he doesn’t know where it goes. The list is endless tbh.

DH likes to put a tablet in the dishwasher then put it on a fucking rinse cycle because the 3 programs to choose from are just too much for him. An hour later he goes in and unloads it all.............

I spend my life getting plates/glasses out the cupboards and working out if it's clean or not. The fact he's still alive is testament to my monumental patience.

He hasn’t ‘almost’ done anything today, but he was ‘just about to do’ many things!

Mine very nearly made it putting laundry into the basket, dirty jeans, folded and placed on top of the closed lid....so so close to the mammoth task of placing them inside.

Another one who doesn't find this funny - it's not amusing to see how fucking low some people set their bar. Do you expect better behaviour from your DSs or are you happy for them to grow up into useless men like this?

These are adult men. Are they this crap at their jobs too, or is it just at home they don't give enough of a fuck to do anything competently and leave it for women to pick up after them?
