What would you eat for dinner if you had a rare night home alone?

DH is out tomorrow which is a rarity and I'm really looking forward to having a night in to myself, chilling out and watching what I want on TV. I'll need dinner and can't decide what to have. Takeaway is an option, cooking is an option but nothing too time consuming as I'll have beem t work all day.

What would you make? Please inspire me!

Coco pops. No question.

My OH is vegetarian so when I'm home alone it's often steak night.

M&S ready meal. Or ditto from anywhere else but not the SmartPrice/super-cheap ones.
Jacket potato with beans and cheese.
Beans on toast with cheese on top.

Or, the other night, when dh was away and I’d had Gdcs staying, all their leftovers, plus a box of the emergency microwave chips I’d bought specially but hadn’t got around to using. With pickled onion vinegar.😋

Sometimes I will cook a proper meal. If I’ve been at work I usually pick up a Chinese takeaway on the way home. Last night I had home made mackerel pate on crisp bread, salt and vinegar crisps and a Ritter Sport peppermint chocolate bar, while binge watching Below Decks. It was a perfect evening.

Dell Ugo crab and crayfish ravioli - a portion for 2 is just the right size for a big bowl for one when it's an indulgent evening. It's the most 'special' tasting pasta I've had outside of a restaurant. Top with melted butter.

@CarolinaWeeper

So, I had baked camembert with garlic and honey, crusty bread, onion chutney and two glasses of red wine. Followed by crisps and some sweets! Feel sick now but I regret nothing Grin.
Oh my god. I have 3 nights to myself next weekend and this is exactly what in going to have! Excellent work.
