@pollylocketpickedapocket he'd get his parents and extended family, new partner etc involved in looking after them. This is a very common scenario with wealthy men.

Then you, your family and your friends are very, very unusual. Do you live in the rural Philippines or something? I’m extremely Catholic and loads of my family, friends and fellow mass goers are divorced. Loads. One is a special minister. Hardly any priest would refuse to give the sacrament to a divorced Catholic. It just doesn’t happen.

No way does Colleen’s reluctance to divorce Wayne have anything to do with Catholicism. If she cared much about the sacrament of marriage she wouldn’t have married Wayne after he confessed to hiring the mature prostitute (professional name: the auld slapper) when they were engaged!

More likely she doesn’t want to be supplanted by a new Mrs Rooney. The Spas and boutiques of Cheshire might not be so keen to bow and scrape to the ex Mrs Rooney.

Yes, they should be called out for it and indeed told off by the police if the blackmail claims are true. But no more than that.

He wasn't tricked. He went willingly to their hotel. With his past record I wouldn't believe a word he says, he thought his luck was in with 3 young women. I feel sorry for Colleen, yet again she's had to defend the cheat she married

Lots of practising Catholics have pre-marital sex and have abortions and divorce, and all kinds of other things that are against the rules.

Colleen might have seen what happens to ex-WAGs. Frank Lampard’s ex, Elen Rives, was reduced to pretending to go on dates with Peter Andre (before his current marriage) and doing “I want my man back” interviews to stay in the news. Only Closer magazine etc were interested, and then not for long. A cautionary tale for Colleen, whose job is ‘being quite famous and spending money’. I don’t think that she’d enjoy being pitied.

Colleen and Wayne's marriage and what they decide to do not do is none of my business, it's their private marriage.

But...

Those women behaved in a abhorrent way, the man was clearly unconscious and out of it probably on a coke downer . Why they ever thought it was appropriate to take those picture which I have seen, the press didn't print them. Is just crazy. Had a group of young lads done it to a woman people would be frothing at the mouth and rightly so. They took clear advantage of a man who couldn't consent, couldn't refuse. Why squat over him in a thong and thrust your muffin in to his face 🤮

I actually don't think it's the money. She'd be fine on her own. But whatever her reasons she's not got rid.

Coleen is worth around £15 million so doubt she stays with him for the money. He's never been anything to look at and she was with him long before he was rich and famous. Guess there really is no accounting for taste.

You only have to see poor Wayne talk on tv to realise he wasn't at the front or middle of the queue when they were handing out braincells, so it's little wonder he finds himself in these situations time and again.

Not nice for the kids though, their dad's many indiscretions online for all to see.

Anyway back to Colleen. I don't know why people are getting their knickers in a twist, plenty of women stay in abusive marriages where their husband has cheated, or hit them or been a general sh it to them, plenty, and they have far far less to lose by leaving than Colleen does.
Just accept its her choice.

Neither of them are being good role models for their kids. They'll see the dad plastered all over the news with yet another girl and their mum staying yet again and think it's right to treat someone like this/be treated like this

He's undoubtedly meet someone else who'd be around the boys and then he'd have more kids. Colleen isn't going to want that loss of control or her boys exposed to that and I can totally understand that.

I suspect this is the reason she is staying too - she doesn't want another mum for her four boys. I just hope she raises them well and they don't take after their dad.

It clearly suits her to just ignore it all and carry on her feud with Vardy, the one she seems to dislike more than she does her own cheating husband. Couldn't make it up eh?

I flit between thinking she's nuts to put up with his behaviour to thinking perhaps she has a long term plan.
She can put up with Wayne's behaviour which means the family stay together, the boys don't have to divide their time between two households and no stepmother/ 2nd family and the financial implications of that.

So Wayne goes into a nightclub and is in the VIP area. Does he invite some young men to join him to discuss the Euro’s? Or possibly some women in their 30’s and they could swap parenting tips?
No he invites some young gorgeous scantily clad women to share his drink.
He then goes back to their hotel room. Possibly to discuss the merits of a travel lodge versus premier inn?
Surely we can imagine what he was thinking?
Personally I think he deserves the ridicule. The women didn’t try to blackmail him, they just showed him up for the twat he is.
