Poor chap he's been tricked into sharing an evening of drinking & dancing with some lovely blonde 20 somethings. Followed by being tricked into going back to a hotel with them all. Poor chap doesn't have much luck does he?

@Onetraumaatatimeplease nobody in my family would divorce. My auntie stayed in an abusive marriage for years because of religion. Just because “some people do” please don’t underestimate the strength of some peoples faiths and families.
He clearly breaks his vows. Doesn’t mean she has to do the same.

@Willwebebuyingnumber11 I'm really not underestimating anybody's faith. But is there not a way she could divorce without the 'shame' because as you say he's clearly been breaking his vows for a long time, in fact I think he broke them before he made them.

I haven't seen the photos of him out of it on a chair but I have seen one where he's very much awake and standing up and very close to a woman.
After all that's gone on before and all the times Colleen has overlooked stuff, why oh why does the idiot still keep putting himself in compromising positions??? Idiot.

I agree, he did. It’s so hard because she’s from a large Catholic family similar to mine and quite honestly, there would be no forgiving a divorce.

It’s shit and it’s so wrong in 2021 but this is life for many people. I know so many women in shit marriages but divorce genuinely isn’t even considered.

The way it’s viewed is that she hasn’t broken her vows. She’s not in the wrong in any way. She’s a good wife and mother.

If she divorces, she is breaking her vows, she is splitting up her family.
He is breaking his vows but she isn’t going against her faith in any way.

I shouldn’t imagine that women choosing to bare their arses next to an unconscious man are role models either.

And aye, catholics can and do divorce. But some take their faith and vows seriously.

My friend told me to go back to my husband after I crawled to hers for help to flee. She found the fact that I wanted to leave him more disturbing than the fact that I could barely stand and was misshapen , bruised and bleeding at her door.

WR’s behaviour is something I couldn’t tolerate. I can’t speak for Colleen.

I do feel for her. It isn’t her who is paying scant regard to her vows.

It's so wrong and I say this as a Christian. Poor kids too in a marriage like that. They may say it won't show but it certainly will.

The answer to women's saftey is not to be found ignoring abusive behaviour of women.

I will always support a victim. The moment we say, 'well these circumstances justify what happened to the victim' is the moment we concede that women in short skirts deserve it.

The women had no right to take the pics and videos. It’s really trashy behaviour and disrespectful to their families and themselves what they did. The internet is forever.. do people forget this?

Giving that he’s a celebrity of course people want to take pics with him. That’s fine. But a married man has no business going to a hotel room with a woman not his wife.

Again the women are wrong for the pics and allegedly attempting to blackmail him. But a married man should never ever have been in a hotel room with women anyway.

I disagree, I'm married with children, it doesn't mean I'm no longer me. Shock horror, I still party till the early hours like I'm 21, I've passed out at my friends house. Whilst I wouldn't go back to someone else's hotel room (and I would never cheat) my ship hasn't sailed

What they did was abusive not trashy. Although they probably saw it as a meal ticket, and from this thread it probably was.

I don’t think anyone would dispute that he shouldn’t have been there.

But it was the behaviour in the room that bothers me. And looking at it he was so wasted he fell asleep. Yes he shouldn’t have been there if he had any respect at all for his wife, but he wasn’t doing anything other than kipping.

The women took things to another level. They could have put him in a taxi back to his hotel. But they didn’t. You’d have to ask why. opportunity to increase profile/make money

As marshmallow said, this is on the Internet forever.

I’d be dying of shame if this was my legacy.

From what I see at weekends though dim and drink don’t ever equal discretion.

I’ve no bother with anyone going out and having a good time. But to hurt people as a result of being so off your chomp you lose reason?

Time to address that. And fast.

A dad that has bother with the drink and acts like an arse has lasting effects.

He’s always getting hammered and set up by unscrupulous Instagram ‘models’ / random pub goers/ aged sex workers. He needs to lay off the booze if this is what happens when he drinks.

Colleen knows what she’s signed u for. She’ll be off to Dubai/Barbados/The Seychelles next week with her Mam & the kids, no questions asked.

I'm sure they do have an arrangement. She turns a blind eye and he pay the bills. She gets to be a SAHM to as many children as she wants, have plenty of paid help with the house and the kids, and spend lots of time on holidays. She's not the first woman to live with that kind of arrangement and she won't be the last.
