What do you get from the Chinese takeaway?

We're getting Chinese food tonight and I've realised we always get the same thing. So, what else can I get?

Chinese order:
Chicken and Sweetcorn soup (me)
Smoked shredded chicken (DP)
Crispy duck with pancakes
Chicken in black bean sauce
Beef with mushrooms
Sweet and sour chicken balls
Special fried rice
Chicken chow mean or Singapore rice noodles
Sometimes either crispy chilli beef or chicken in yellow bean sauce and sometimes chicken satay skewers or dumplings if we want leftovers for lunch.

What's your order?

Only DS7 and me at home so not very much. He usually has sweet and sour chicken balls with some egg fried rice. I share the rice with some lemon chicken. I am massively allergic to tomato so very limited on what I can eat!

Mixed sweet and sour balls, special curry, chow mein

King prawn chow mein (the Chinese near me serves this in the little boxes!)

Char Sui fried rice (this is the dish we vary when we occasionally berate ourselves for being boring)
Feeds 3 plus my lunch the next day.
If feeling v hungry might add prawn toast or ribs starter size

Have never got a Chinese (not helpful at all)

We have a really amazing takeaway and from it we order:

Deep fried pork belly with sweet & sour sauce
Pak choi with garlic
Aubergine with crispy chilli oil and minced pork
Smacked cucumber salad

From the standard takeaway (which I enjoy as much)

That is a lot! We would be eating Chinese for days if we got all that 🤣

We usually get
Starter box for 2 - prawn toast, satay skewers, spring rolls, salt chilli wings, BBQ ribs, seaweed
Chicken Volcano
Deep fried salt and chilli chicken
Satay sauce
Chips
Occasionally a chicken friend rice to share

That'll feed 2 greedy adults for dinner, and 1 normal adult for lunch or dinner the next day!

Ha moon vermicelli (Singapore noodles for wimps, I put a tiny bit of chilli sauce on at home)
DP gets king prawn curry and fried rice
We also get a large pancake roll and chips to share.

The place we go to does the best chips ever. I save half of mine for the next day because there's so much food.

I've just realised it's ages since we had Chinese takeaway because we've been going to the street food vans instead, so might need to go next weekend.

Probably about once a year but always the same: crispy shredded beef, hot and sour soup and 'seaweed'

Our Chinese does a happy meal for £7 which includes a starter,main and rice/chips so we get 2. We get chicken balls in bbq sauce as starter then a chicken chow mein and chicken curry with rice and a side of chips

I’ve not had one for about 6 years

Dd used to work in my favourite takeaway here and brought me home a meal after every shift, but then the dickhead she took a sickie, got caught and sacked!
I laugh about it now, but I was furious at the time!
