New thread here, since the Last Thread has ever so slowly filled up. Isn't it amazing how little our worries crept up in the night when the world was actually one big worry?

Pandemic or not, this is the place to just park your worries. We don't ask questions, or try to solve your problems. We just hold them, tenderly, carefully, until you are strong enough to take them back. If they choose not to come back, all the better.

I hope you managed to grab some rowies/butteries/rolls (fitiver they are called in your little heartland) - I know from experience that an abundance of them makes you a wee bit rounder! 😳

I like to think that being upset leaving everyone behind is a beautiful thing in its own little way. If you are not loved and do not love back then you wouldn’t feel upset at all.

You love and are loved back quite clearly.

And that is the biggest gift. To shove in beside your sea glass, your gin, your pebbles and your tablet.

NE country lass. I love a macaroni - have never had a chippy macaroni pie though!

I do make a posh macaroni with a filo topping though. I’m sure that counts.

The local cheeses have been a bit of a downfall. But life is for living. And for me it would be downright rude not to support local farms by savouring troughing their wares😁x

So tearful today, and absolutely exhausted. I yelled at my lovely mama today. So many little problems to sort out, and it feels like an uphill battle the last few days. My son’s neurosurgery is a week from today. Is there anyone on night shift able to take care of my worries tonight, please, so that I can get some sleep?

The stress you are under would make a saint shout. And I’m sure your own mama will understand.

Life is hard sometimes. Life will be hard for you for a wee while yet.

But there is a hammock of love and care surrounding you. Lie down and start swinging. Sleep will sneak forth.

We hold you in our heads and hearts and light is sweeping towards your wee lad. We have him too.

He just might not know it. 💕

My mama has been an absolute sweetheart about it, even though I really didn’t deserve it. I tantrumed like a proper toddler.

Just leaving worries here. Feeling very unwell. Need to do some letters re loss of treatment but having sight as well as other problems. Need to sleep. Not been able to before 4am in weeks, up at 9am is taking its toll I think. Need to accept doing letters later. Just can't think st all.

I can take your worries for tonight @Becca19962014. I so hope you can get some sleep. Your poor mind and body must be desperate for rest.

love that! Thank you, @SheldonesqueGoddessOfTheMoonah. I feel blessed to manage the trip, to put eyes on my loveys, and to see they are all surviving and thriving. That's the most we can ask during these time!

And my kitty is delighted to have us home, plus I only gained .5 lbs despite eating significant parts of Scotland and England. That's a win :)

After a less than encouraging call this morning, I am now awaiting a phone call tomorrow to tell me the house sale has gone to pot, or the purchase, or both.

I’ve had some of your worries - just not all at the same time. No wonder you are flailing.

But peace is yours. Worries will be suppressed. Everything always seems a little easier after a sleep.

Keeping all crossed that things work out house wise (and everything else)

The load will shift greatly I think if the house stuff falls into place.
