Richmond for both.

And Tesco frozen meat free burgers.

WouldBeGood · 18/07/2021 09:50

Oh, and Waitrose leek and mushroom vegan bangers.

StealthPolarBear · 18/07/2021 09:50

Richmond vegetarian sausages are lovely!

perfectpanda · 18/07/2021 09:52

Cauldron Lincolnshire sausages

MrsBungle · 18/07/2021 09:52

Agree - Richmond for sausages. We had m and s plant based burgers last week. They were really nice. They were really thick and “meatyish” Grin

BikeRunSki · 18/07/2021 09:54

I like Cauldron sausages, and Heck.

I utterly dislike Linda Mc stuff, Tesco Plant Kitchen, Birds Eye and Richmond veggie sausages. Some people swear by Richmond. Yo me, they are too meaty tasting/feeling which is missing the point. Some people consider this to be exactly the point though!

I’ve never met a mass produced veggie burger that I like. Quorn are Ok, but I usually make my own.

AmethystMoonShine · 18/07/2021 09:54

Quorn best of British sausages are my favourite

MrsBungle · 18/07/2021 09:54

These are the ones. They were really nice. We are going to switch to them from Linda McCartney mozzarella quarter pounders.

Linda macartney for both. The plain sausages and the quarter pounder burgers.

PurpleDaisies · 18/07/2021 09:55

Richmond veggie sausages
Shroom dogs are nice too, and I like m and s chorizo style ones for pasta bakes.

Coop ultimate plant based burgers in the
frozen section are my favourite. The moving mountains ones are good too.

RaininSummer · 18/07/2021 09:55

The only ones I like are cauldron sausages and plant chef spicy bean burgers.

Agreed. These are really tasty!
Unmute · 18/07/2021 09:56

Richmond sausages.

Can you get Gardein in the UK? Their burgers are the best

1starwars2 · 18/07/2021 09:56

I think you need to try them all and see what you prefer. We eat a lot in our house, and even the meat eaters no longer eat meat sausages or burgers.
My kids and DH like quorn sausages.
I like sainsburys Shroomdogs (fresh).
The coop Gro burgers, Sainsburys Plant Pionneers (thick ones with 2 in a pack) burgers, and quorn ultimate burgers are also great.

JordanPickford · 18/07/2021 09:58

I like Gosh veggie sausages - no quorn, no soya, just lentils & veg

PurpleDaisies · 18/07/2021 10:08

Are you wanting meaty type ones? I like lidl spicy bean burgers for that sort of thing. Not keen on any vegetable sausage ones.

PurpleDaisies · 18/07/2021 10:09

Sorry, non-meaty type ones. It’s great when you type the exact opposite of what you mean!

Sexnotgender · 18/07/2021 10:11

Richmond vegan sausages
Lidl spicy bean burgers
Sainsbury’s love your veg Indian inspired burgers are lovely

Lavender21 · 18/07/2021 10:22

I like Linda McCartney rosemary sausages and mozzarella burgers. My son and DH like Richmond and Heck sausages and Sainsbury's Plant Pioneers burgers.

CornishPastyDownUnder · 18/07/2021 10:43

i love the aldi veggie sausages, the quorn ones are great too&linda macartneys..cant do burgers at all unless they are like a flattened veggie finger- hate anything that too closely resembles the taste of cow meat-its been35 years meat-free but the days of being made to eat primary school"beef" burgers still makes me shudder/gag.Some vegetarians dont want to replicate the taste of meat!

EllaMayGrace · 18/07/2021 10:50

Another vote for Cauldron! Very tasty, nicely seasoned veggie sausages in their own right (i.e not just trying to mimic proper sausages.

Richmond gave our whole family diarrhoea (sorry!)

Mummydoctor · 18/07/2021 10:51

Sausages - plant pioneers, richmonds, heck and Linda MCCartney Rosemary

Burgers - plant pioneers ultimate plant burgers, quorn vegan ultimate burgers, Morrison’s spicy bean burgers, Aldi’s halloumi burgers

MarmaladeToastAndAMarmaladeCat · 18/07/2021 10:51

I like quorn best of British and Richmond sausages. I have never found a fake meat veggie burger I like the taste of so I get spicy bean burgers instead and find them much nicer.

MarmaladeToastAndAMarmaladeCat · 18/07/2021 10:51

Also like Linda McCartney chorizo and red pepper sausages, they are very tasty.
