Do you wear an apron when you cook?

I've never owned one and just saw some really nice ones on FB but what's actually the point of them? I never seem to end up with food on my clothes from cooking.

I love my aprons. Only started wearing them after having DC.

Mine are all cotton I wouldn't want a wipe clean one not sure why I just wouldn't

I literally just bought one today!

I like them because they make me feel productive. I put one on and it's like, 'right, lets down to business!'

I know, it's sad.

Always. I got tired of spots of this or that on my clothes.

I wash them about once a month.

I seem to have:

one for baking
one for cooking
one for housework
one for gardening
one for artwork
and one for washing the car and windows.

Other than that, no I don't use them . . .

Yes, I love them. I have loads! My favourite place to get them is Homesense. My Mum bought me a black denim apron with a cross over back for Christmas and DH shrunk it on its first wash still annoyed!!

Didn't wear my apron this morning and have a grease spot and mucky water on my linen top. Really annoyed with myself

No. I own a couple but they never come out of the drawer. But I have an orange mark on my shirt right now because the soup splashed when I was making lunch, so maybe I should start.
