Watching supernatural and whilst I love this show (haven’t completed it yet) I’m still pissed at some of the characters they killed off

Ellen
Jo
Bela

I loved those 3 and I hate they were killed off

Hate that Lexa was killed in The 100

Hate that Tara was killed off in Buffy

We watched unforgotten recently and in the penultimate episode of series three the main character is injured. Of course she'll survive, I know there's another series. But no! It was so sad. And I keep thinking about it a few weeks later.
Any from the walking dead, probably Beth and glen are the ones that stick out most.

I cried so much at its a sin.

Artax from Neverending Story

OneMamaAndHerGirl · 07/07/2021 22:09

Seb in Coronation Street, His mum Abi’s acting broke me

ErrolTheDragon · 07/07/2021 22:46

George Toolan at the end of A Touch of Frost.
Such a horrid way to end the series.

LadyEuphemia · 07/07/2021 23:34

Matthew from Downton (ruined Christmas!)
The Mum dying at the end of How I met your Mother
River dying in Dr Who
Fitz in Agents of Shield (season 5)
Buffy’s Mum

Am now super gutted to find out about Logan - whee did you guys find that season of Veronica Mars?

FoxVillage · 08/07/2021 00:33

@Velveteen16

Carter in ER
Grin

I still cry at Mark Greene’s death. The trip to Hawaii, Rachel, somewhere over the rainbow. So sad!

George O’Malley’s death in GA was just a rip off of Gant’s death in ER. GA ripped off a lot of storylines from other shows. Great cast though!

Babababababybelll · 08/07/2021 08:21

Op , i dont know what series you are on.

Personally I think the first few are the best.

Im a massive supernatural fan. There are more sad deaths coming , but i will say , no one is gone forever on supernatural.........

ShowOfHands · 08/07/2021 13:11

True re Supernatural. You can die multiple times and still show up for the next apocalypse level crisis.

Series 4 was the high point for me.

motogogo · 08/07/2021 13:26

Derek from Greys ... a sad day

CaptainHammer · 08/07/2021 15:51

Yy to Wash. I try and pretend Serenity didn’t happen 😂

@Samcro and @squashyhat I watch Heartland too! I’ve only watched the 1st episode from the latest season as I can’t find a decent place to watch it online this time.
Ty dying was sad but as he hadn’t been in at is much lately not quite as sad as if it happened in say season 11. I’ll be very sad if they ever kill off Jack though!

Strokethefurrywall · 09/07/2021 01:27

@adeleh thank you, that’s very sweet.

It’s been 9 years but Greys is still a before and after series! My brother would probably be pissed off with how it’s gone now, I reckon he’d have stopped watching after Christina left as he loved her 😆

Inkanta · 09/07/2021 04:35

Sybil and Matthew in Downton.

Inkanta · 09/07/2021 04:41

Nancy in Oliver being killed was a shocker!

Inkanta · 09/07/2021 04:52

Ballerina in Red Shoes
Beth in Little Women

groundcontroltomontydon · 09/07/2021 06:02

Nigel in the Archers

Jody21 · 09/07/2021 11:55

Charlie (the 'real' Charlie!) and Crowley.

Angus, Rupert and Murtagh in Outlander.

Halig, Thryra (prob not the correct spelling!) in the Last kingdom.

Jojo's mother in Jojo Rabbit, that scene broke me.

HappyRaven · 09/07/2021 18:27

Such a shame Dennie died in Greys anatomy.
I recently cried over John Dorie in Fear the walking dead.

follygirl · 09/07/2021 18:55

@SandysMam

Danielle in Eastenders just as Ronnie found out she was her daughter! I was way too invested and felt I had wasted all that time them keep missing each other just to never see the relationship develop! I flounced after that and haven’t watched it since!
Same for me. I used to love EE but that was the final straw. Just looked it up and it was in 2009!

I was so worried when Jack had a heart attack and they set it up so it made you think he had died. Awful.

I’ve been watching Supernatural since I was 18 (now 34) and those deaths are still amongst the worst for me.

However.

Brace yourself.

IDontReadEyebrows · 09/07/2021 19:46

All of the deaths in It’s A Sin, including the minor characters and especially lovely Colin. Couldn’t sleep for hours because I was sobbing so much and it stayed in my head.

Jenny Calendar and Anya in Buffy, didn’t see either coming, was sure they’d both survive somehow.

Cordelia from Angel- it seemed so spiteful and a waste of her character. Now we know it definitely did come from spite.

Laverne in Scrubs again, never saw it coming and cried buckets.

Yvonne Atkins in Bad Girls. Horrifying.

Wishimaywishimight · 09/07/2021 19:53

@Defiantly41 Totally! I was devastated. Then he appeared as a ghost in her office and they danced while I sobbed!

Bobby in Dallas (although that turned out to be a dream 😀).

Wishimaywishimight · 09/07/2021 19:55

@Regularchoice Agree re Colin in Maretown. I was so not expecting that 😭

EsmaCannonball · 09/07/2021 20:20

Blanche in Tenko, because it was done off-screen between series and only because the actress was unavailable. She (and Bea were the best characters.)

Beth Jordache in Brookside. Again, the actress was unavailable, so she died off-screen, which was such a poor end to a great storyline.

Combo (possibly) in This is England '90. You don't actually see him die, so it might not have happened, but, if it did, it was absolutely gut-wrenching.

Omar in The Wire. Such a great character and he's taken out by that horrible little kid, which I know is the point, but ...
