Watching supernatural and whilst I love this show (haven’t completed it yet) I’m still pissed at some of the characters they killed off

Ellen
Jo
Bela

I loved those 3 and I hate they were killed off

Hate that Lexa was killed in The 100

Hate that Tara was killed off in Buffy

Was just about to comment the same! He was an annoying character at first but I think killing him off completely killed the whole series.
I could just about cope with Rick leaving but in my opinion Carl was pretty much his whole reason to stay alive. Would have made so much more sense for Rick to just go and for Carl to carry on with his ‘new world ideas’
(If you can’t tell I am(or used to be) obsessed with Walking Dead Grin

I was going to say Will Gardner from The Good Wife also, it just seemed so unexpected. and shocking.

PerhapsCarriageGreen · 07/07/2021 16:43

Mark in ER
Will in The Good Wife
Derek and Lexie in Greys

@Pashazade you're so right.
Also Wash from Firefly (though in the film) still not over it.

StormyLovesOdd · 07/07/2021 16:48

Yes to the OP who mentioned Fear The Walking Dead, I loved Maddison and still hoping they'll somehow bring her back as they never found her body did they. I also loved the Nick character, he was so messed up and it's not been the same since they left.

They've killed off most of the good characters in The Walking Dead too, I can't be bothered to watch it anymore

Wineat5isfine · 07/07/2021 16:50

Rachel from Cold Feet. We were heartbroken watching that episode!

Sybil in Downton Abbey.

Agree with Poussey from OITNB and Glen from TWD as well.

I’m sure there are many more, but those are the ones that spring to mind!

CorrieALanus · 07/07/2021 16:50

Matthew, Downton

SinkGirl · 07/07/2021 16:50

I can’t say because not enough people have watched it (and should do, immediately) but there’s a death in The Shield that I will never recover from (and a few more that come close). Heart breaking.

I really don’t want to spoil it for anyone as it would be such a shame to know it’s coming.

Mogloveseggs · 07/07/2021 16:50

Greg Pratt in ER

Mildmanneredmum · 07/07/2021 16:54

DI Richard Poole in Death in Paradise. I never saw it coming, soooo sad.

adeleh · 07/07/2021 17:03

Rachel in Cold Feet
George and Lexie in Grey's Anatomy.
Mark, Lucy, Greg in ER
Arthur in Holby City

MotherWol · 07/07/2021 17:05

Nina in Being Human - killed off offscreen because of a dispute between the actor and the director. She was a really interesting character and Sinead Keenan is a great actress so it was really disappointing!

Samcro · 07/07/2021 17:05

Opie SOA
Mr CAplan, in the blacklist
Tye in Heartland.

Comedycook · 07/07/2021 17:06

Tiffany in Eastenders....

squashyhat · 07/07/2021 17:09

I doubt anyone else watches Heartland (Canadian family drama on Netflix) but the actor playing a central character decided he wanted out after 13 series (can't blame him really) so they killed him off. I think actually it was done quite well but very sad Sad

squashyhat · 07/07/2021 17:11

Ooh just seen the post from @Samcro. Someone else does watch it!

Geamhradh · 07/07/2021 17:12

@LadyMonicaBaddingham

Jeff the paramedic from Casualty dying annoyed me (gimmer of a storyline) he and Dixie were such a great double act.
Yes!

Berlin and Nairobi in Money Heist/Casa de Papel.

tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz · 07/07/2021 17:13

Glen and Abraham Sad Watching poor Maggies reaction was the really awful part

tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz · 07/07/2021 17:13

Also poor Adrianna in Sopranos

tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz · 07/07/2021 17:15

One I didn't see coming was the mobs lawyer lady in Ozark.

Such a stylish character

FoxVillage · 07/07/2021 17:17

I didn’t mind Nedd’s death in GoT as I could see the character would get boring and his death set the scene for the show, but poor Shireen. That was just really too much.

I was heart-broken about D’Angelo’s death in The Wire and poor Wallace too.

Regularchoice · 07/07/2021 17:17

Norman in Kominsky method, yy! I was bawling. I'm still upset thinking about it, waaaaay over invested!
Also Colin in Mare of Easttown. Terrible.

frankienotbenny · 07/07/2021 17:18

Yes, to Will Gardner. DH and I had watched every episode in every season so were very invested. The worst of it was I'd inadvertantly read a spoiler so knew what was coming (the great disadvantage of watching shows from the US) but couldn't spoil it for DH so kept watching while knowing what was happening when he didn't.

WestendVBroadway · 07/07/2021 17:19

Really sad of me , but Gerry being murdered by Lachlan in Emmerdale peed me off, he was such a great character.

Dilbertian · 07/07/2021 17:19

Jolyon Forsyte in The Forsyte Saga. He was the only likeable character in a cast of bastards, the only one about whom I cared anything. And he only goes and dies on the very least page! I never bothered with the sequels. No point without him in them.
