Watching supernatural and whilst I love this show (haven’t completed it yet) I’m still pissed at some of the characters they killed off

Ellen
Jo
Bela

I loved those 3 and I hate they were killed off

Hate that Lexa was killed in The 100

Hate that Tara was killed off in Buffy

Yes to Cassie in unforgotten!

Deadringer · 07/07/2021 20:07

I agree with many already mentioned, but can i add the lovely Luke from coronation street, i still haven't got over the shock of his murder. And not a death but i was heartbroken when Wallander developed Alziheimers disease at the end, and flabbergasted when Micheal Scott left The Office, what were the writers/creators thinking?

GlencoraP · 07/07/2021 20:08

Nigel in The Archers , never listened regularly since then , just seemed pointless

Sirius Black and Dumbledore

Will in The Good Wife - it just got crap after that. The only good thing being Eli Gold (Alan Cumming was amazing)

Poussay in OITNB

GlencoraP · 07/07/2021 20:11

Cassie from Unforgotton

Kit19 · 07/07/2021 20:12

Drummond and Mrs Skerrett in Victoria - both just had the happiest moment and then, gone!!

Colin Zabel in Mare of Easttown

Another vote for Cassie in Unforgotten

Kate in NCIS

tigger1001 · 07/07/2021 20:21

@adeleh

Did Carter die in ER??! I thought it ended with him taking over as Chief?
You are right, Carter didn't die in er.
Katefoster · 07/07/2021 20:23

Poussey dying was awful I hated that scene
Mike Delfino from desperate housewives
Matthew from Downton Abby
The cop in unforgotten

Katefoster · 07/07/2021 20:25

Just seen Sybil died in DA as well that was really sad I loved her

gingerandproud4always · 07/07/2021 20:25
@RightOnTheEdge Cassie in Unforgotten hasn't died? Unless you've seen series 4 before it's been released on ITV?
She did I'm afraid.

SinkGirl · 07/07/2021 20:26

Absolutely this.

Knew I could count on you @CletusVanDamme

The Shield is the only 20 year old series I refuse to post spoilers for because I’m still amazed how few people have seen it and it’s such a shame.

If anyone is looking for something to binge, it’s on Prime again now - I’m rewatching for the hundredth time 😬

Fuckingcrustybread · 07/07/2021 20:32

Will Gardner, so shocking and unexpected. I didn't watch any more after that.

SunSunSunshine · 07/07/2021 20:37

Pat in Eastenders

thebattleofschrutefarms · 07/07/2021 20:41

Mike in Desperate Housewives Angry

SnottyLottie · 07/07/2021 20:43

Matthew dying in Downton ruined Christmas that year 😩

Colin’s complete demise in It’s A Sin, I ugly cried watching that episode

Shireen’s horrific death in GoT, her screams haunted me (what a great little actress that girl was)

OneKeyAtATime · 07/07/2021 20:48

Agree with Possey, Pierre, Cassie, Quinn.

Rory's grandfather in Gilmore girls. The actor had died, which made it so much more worse.

mummyh2016 · 07/07/2021 20:51

Colin in it's a sin.
Becca from hollyoaks.
Yvonne in bad girls but I think that was more the way she died. I was only about 13 and I had nightmares for weeks.

Arrowheart · 07/07/2021 20:56

Pierre in Spiral
Lane in Mad Men

RightOnTheEdge · 07/07/2021 20:58

@MonicaGellerBing oh no! I know it says spoiler alert in the title but I'm still sorry I've spoiled that for you

Hdhdjejdj · 07/07/2021 21:04

Damon in Brookside. Such a brilliant character who died in brutal circumstances. Utterly heartbreaking.

MonicaGellerBing · 07/07/2021 21:04

@RightOnTheEdge it's ok, my own fault for reading the thread!

MargaretThursday · 07/07/2021 21:05

Lupin and Tonks: Just pointless. Didn't know them enough to be really tear-jerking, but just felt like she wanted to name people and probably produce an orphan for Harry to look after.

Robin's father in Chalet School. Done so Joey could totally take possession of her I suspect.

Dreamstosell · 07/07/2021 21:08

Lady Sybil and Matthew in Downtown Abbey

Beth in Little Women

And agree about the huge death rate among the officers in The Bill. Major enquiry required at that police station

PloptheBarnOwl · 07/07/2021 21:38

Way back in the mists of time, Donald Fisher's son in Home and Away, Alan Fisher. He was hot AF.

Wallace in The Wire
Russell Tovey's character drowning in Years and Years
And yes def Colin in It's A Sin.

Clawdy · 07/07/2021 21:44

Dan Stevens (Matthew), was on a late night book review tv show, and he said such nasty spiteful things about my sister's book, going for cheap laughs, and shouting a silly comment as the show ended. She was devastated. So when Matthew died, all our family were cheering!
