Ooh, sea sickness is the worst. What kind of wildlife did you see?
Sorry to hear about the rain, but well done on getting your steps in! Star
I'd go easy on yourself food wise on holiday too. Smile

Soooooooo many seals! Love seals! Inquisitive little things! Lots of puffins and a variety of terns. Not sure what we’re up to tomorrow but hoping it’s a bit drier!

BorderlineHappy · 01/08/2021 08:11

@PaperMonster that sounds gorgeous.
The weather has been shite here but went walking yesterday.

But I'm trying to get out of bed and failing this morning.

I'm not sure if I get sea sick but I get car sick and my dad gets sea sick so I probably would 🤢

We're going to asda today. Quite excited, it's 45 mins away and we don't go often. Need some school bits for the dc.

73kittycat73 · 01/08/2021 12:29

Ooh, I bet that was lovely PaperMonster. Smile Were the seals friendly? Hoping for dryer weather for you today!
BorderlineHappy It's Sunday, lay in day! (Unless you can't get out of bed because you are struggling?)
WreckTangled I get car and sea sick. My mum went on a cruise once and discovered she has motion sickness! The onboard Dr gave her some tablets to help.
Well, weighed in today and in two weeks have lost 2lb, so about right. I'm going to try 5:2 this week. First fast day on Tuesday, second on Friday. I ordered a few bits from Exante to try out. I really hope they taste alright! Grin

@73kittycat73 it's definitely Sunday fatigue.
Managed to get up and have a lovely roast on
Calories don't count on a Sunday😂

73kittycat73 · 01/08/2021 12:52

Aww, just tired from the week? Roast sounds nice though! I haven't had one since Xmas! Shock Did you have pudding too, or was there no more room? Grin

OP posts:
BorderlineHappy · 01/08/2021 13:20

Oh haven't had it yet @73kittycat73 smells gorgeous.
Always have room for pudding 😂

PaperMonster · 01/08/2021 17:42

@73kittycat73 well done on the weight loss! I think seals are always friendly- I know when we’ve encountered them on beaches, they’ll swim the same way as you’re walking and pop up and down to have a nosy at you!!

Dry, chilly, breezy day today with sunshine later on. Daughter’s been sailing - no sea sickness when she was handling the boat herself!! Done three miles walking today. Had a cracking headache all day though. Really fancy a gin and we have none here!

73kittycat73 · 01/08/2021 21:28

What did you have for pudding in the end BorderlineHappy? I've eaten way over my calorie allowance today. Tomorrow is a new start!
Thank you PaperMonster. Smile Those seals sound adorable! I hope your head feels better soon. No gin?! Is there a pub you could pop in to?

OP posts:
BorderlineHappy · 01/08/2021 21:37

I had a vanilla protein pudding

PaperMonster · 01/08/2021 21:47

@BorderlineHappy that sounds interesting. Is it a bought or homemade one?

@73kittycat73 you know, I’d be way too scared to go into a pub by myself nowadays!! And OH isn’t really a pub person. I went for a walk along the pier instead. Cleared my head a bit and the sunset was beautiful.

73kittycat73 · 01/08/2021 22:21

How was it BorderlineHappy? I've had about three puddings today. Blush Grin
Glad your head is feeling a bit better then PaperMonster. Flowers Any other plans for this evening, or just winding down for now?

OP posts:
BorderlineHappy · 01/08/2021 22:24

Shop bought,Tesco do them here.
They're called Everest protein puddings
I always buy a few when they have them in stock.
Salted caramel, chocolate and vanilla.

73kittycat73 · 01/08/2021 22:27

Ooh, is it only Tesco that do them? I can get shopping from Sainsbury's, Asda, Morrisons and Ocado. I'll have to have a check of them sometime. So you'd recommend them then?

OP posts:
73kittycat73 · 01/08/2021 22:30

Aww, I've just checked all those supermarkets and none of them have it. Sad Is there a minimum charge for Tesco home deliveries do you know? I usually do mine and my mums shopping in one but she doesn't like Tescos.

OP posts:
73kittycat73 · 01/08/2021 22:32

Just tried Tesco online and they haven't got them in either. Maybe they only have them in store?

OP posts:
73kittycat73 · 01/08/2021 22:36

I just found one by Googling but it's on Tesco Ireland. Maybe they don't have them in England?

OP posts:
BorderlineHappy · 01/08/2021 22:49

Haven't bought one, might do next week and have a virgin bellini.

73kittycat73 · 01/08/2021 23:22

Never thought of Amazon. Will go check...Nope, no joy.
I'm off for tonight now. Have a good one all. Sleep tight. Flowers

Good afternoon everyone. :) Hope you are all having a good day?
Hope it's dry for you today PaperMonster, and that the headache is gone?
Hi BorderlineHappy, how are you today?
How was the trip to Asda WreckTangled? They do do some nice food in there. Are you just going for school bits though?
Eat myself out of house and home last night. Can't seem to find that middle ground! New start today (Have no chocolate left anyway. Grin ) Stick to 1600 cals today, fast day tomorrow.

OP posts:
BorderlineHappy · 02/08/2021 13:54

I'm doing great thank you @73kittycat73.
Good luck for the fast.

Bought myself a tee shirt In Penney's a size down and it actually fits.
Hope everyone has a lovely day

PaperMonster · 02/08/2021 20:35

Hello, no headache today thankfully, thank you! The heating at this holiday house came on early this morning and I’m wondering if it did the same yesterday morning and I didn’t have the window open then as I normally do and that might have caused it,

Been out for the day - ended up having a panini at the attraction we were at because there was nothing suitable and it was takeaway. Bloomin tasty though! And hopefully the six miles we walked will have kept my sugars low!!

Gorgeous day today! Tomorrow is sposed to be very sunny too!

73kittycat73 · 02/08/2021 21:44

Thank you and yay for the NSV BorderlineHappy! You are doing so well. Smile My Exante products turned up today. I'll be testing two tomorrow so will come and update.
Ooh, I'd love to try a panini PaperMonster. They always look so delicious. Glad you enjoyed yours. Smile I'm sure that six miles helped!
Sending you good luck for the weather. Star
