How far away do you live from family?

I was talking to DH about this this evening, my family have always lived within 15 mins of each other until we moved an hour and a half away. Sometimes it feels like I’m too far away from them so I was just wondering what everyone else does?

20 mins from DPs
5 min from ILs
Aunt uncle 2 mins away
a couple of cousins about 20 min away
Siblings are much further away

TBH i wish we were further away. It sucks away most of our weekends. DH has taken the kids 'for a short visit' to his parents today. They've been gone 5 hours. Won't be back for another 3 unless I text them to come home. There goes our entire Sunday.

270 miles from DM, shortly to become 0.4 miles (she’s moving, not us).
160 miles from PiL
2/3 siblings live abroad , the other one lives about 5-6 hours away in a different t part of the uk.

Less than 10 min drive from my parents.
Less than 15 min drive to my suster or brothers houses.
Half an hour to FIL and DP's family.

8 minute drive to my parents
3 minutes to my brothers
1.5hr away from in-laws

Dh’s family are all local, within a 10 min drive.

My dad is a 3 hour drive away.

My mum is a 1 hour (ish) plane flight away (or about a day of driving/ferry)

My brother, haven’t a clue, I think he’s up in the Arctic circle of Norway currently but who knows.

5 miles from DS and family.

12 miles from sister with whom I am NC.

5026 miles from sister that I adore, and the rest of my family that i am very fond of.

From my mum and dad - Ten minute walk.

My brother - One minute walk.

Sister 1 - Fifteen minute drive.

Sister 2 & 3 - Ten minute drive.

My nans and grandad and some aunties are about ten minute drive but I don't talk to any of them.

In-laws - Fifteen minute drive.

4 hours for some of my family, 6 for the rest of them. DH's is 6 hours away (but different directions to mine!). We haven't seen DH's family since 2019, I saw both bits of mine once last year.

TBH you just get used to coping without family support as they're just not there!
