I’ve never understood the Phoebe and David love, she was barely with him (and Mike is just lovely).

Carol was the worst for me, whiny cowbag.

So glad to read this I seem to be the only person that has David on my dislike list. I don't get the love for him and the hate for Mike I much prefer Mike.

I liked the messy girl with the hamster.

Like:

Rachel's boss at the job she had after Bloomingdales (the smoker).

Also I rather liked the teacher Ross was on a date with when Carol was at the same restaurant and was left alone when Susan had to go off somewhere. Ross ended up talking to Carol, and the teacher sensibly left. I think Ross would have done well to hang on to her. (I accept that she wasn't a secondary character or a cameo).

David's friend with whom he went to Minsk.

I loved Rachel's boss Joanna and her mascara goop. And when Joanna died

Also love Janice's line when Chandler breaks up with her and she says "you call out to me like a foghorn - JAA-NIICE, JAA-NIICE."

Janice is without doubt the best secondary character.

But for those who love Gunther because of his dopey love for Rachel, he told her about Ross’s affair!!. That was purely selfish and not a thing he would do if he truly loved her.

I really liked the relationship between Carole and Susan.

I think most of Ross‘s girlfriends were meant to be obviously not as good a fit for him as Rachel. Julie got badly served by the writers I think. And it was implausible to me that either Charli or Bonnie would have dated him at all.

I liked the Gellars and also Emily’s parents, and Estelle and Janice. Didn’t really have an opinion on Mike or David, I wasn’t fussed about their characters or about Phoebe’s relationship with them.

I really liked the relationship between Carole and Susan.

How, what, why, in what way lol
(Yes, they maybe made a cute couple but they were shitty how they got together and how they tried to shunt Ross out from parenting

I think Julie and Ross were a great match

See your point with Charlie even though i thought she was great it does seems a bit WTF are you doing with Ross although I think maybe a better fit with Joey she went out with lol

She's only in it for a minute but one of my favourite characters is Rhonda from the museum - 'You not in a perfect world, you in a museum now!' I just love her.

Eddie is absolutely brilliant too - 'We took a roadtrip to Las Vegas man!'

I disliked Susan and Carol as they completely pushed Ross out at every opportunity when he was Ben's dad. I wasn't that keen on Mike simply because I felt his chemistry with Phoebe was lacking. Elle Macpherson's character wasn't great because of her lack of acting skills.

I quite liked Charlie and Emily. Charlie because she was an intelligent female character that wanted more than Joey's looks. Emily was made to look unreasonable because the end game was Ross and Rachel. Who on earth though would want their husband to have contact with an ex still harbouring feelings for him? He said the ex's name at the altar and humiliated Emily infront of all of her loved ones and then took said ex in what should if been their honeymoon. Had Rachel had any decency in her she wouldn't have gone with him and would have encouraged him to go after his wife and make amends if he loved Emily as he thought he did at the time. Also Ross was an ass who treated Emily badly.

I think that was the whole point of Susan and Carol - to show how tolerant and what a nice guy Ross was.
