Unpopular opinion - I like Joey and Rachel together. Ross and Rachel were SO toxic, were hardly even together long and massively outgrew each other. Whereas I think Joey and Rachel brought out the fun in one another.

Thinking about it this show did like it's inappropriate relationships didn't it

I loved that storyline.

Series 1 is hugely underrated as they had some really interesting tales on life. My heart broke when she was cross that Joey outed his dad's affair because she enjoyed the way her treated her because of the guilt he felt. So relatable

If the next thread (or one I've already missed) is under-rated scene then I propose Mona, Ross and Rachel's father after Rachel's father finds out she is pregnant and not with the father and Mona finds out Rachel is pregnant and which ends in the call about the 'hookers'? for the quality of the writing.

Suspect Emily was written to be dislikable without the amusing hostility of Rachel's father.

I also disliked Susan (though she had some funny lines) and Carol over how they treated Ross during the pregnancy.

Also Emily as like someone else said, she just didn't seem to gel well with the main cast. Very wooden and odd acting imo.

And wasn't Estelle also the midwife in the One with the Birth?

I love Richard and especially Jack Geller, cracks me up everytime!

No, @Zilla1 you are absolutely right - it was the same woman but she had dark hair as the midwife.

Looking through the rest of the thread, there's loads that I've missed!

Just discussed this with DD who is also a massive fan and she agrees with liking David and Mike and Gunther and also Carol and Susan.

We also want to give a shout out to Gavin, wish that love-hate story had gone a bit further. Rachel really needs a love interest outside the group.
