Mine is 49. Am I dead?

Can you tell that I've got a jazzy new watch which measures all the things?

About 53. Some weeks it’s under 50, seems to be roughly hormonal?

KindergartenKop · 08/06/2021 20:42

I'm not that fit but swim twice a week and have to climb billions of stairs for work. Maybe I am dead then? Confused

Garmin says it's as low as 42, but I think that might be night time.

Just checked manually, and it's 56 just now.

I'm a distance runner, and it's normally around 45-55

StillNoFuckingEyeDeer · 08/06/2021 20:43

38-42. I’m reasonably fit. Definitely not dead.

DinosApple · 08/06/2021 20:43

72bpm. I'm 38 and that's normal for me, not hugely fit.
My heart rate slows right down when I hold my breath. It's a talent DD2 has too.

Fooshufflewickjbannanapants · 08/06/2021 20:43

Between 42 and 47, always been low also have low blood pressure and a low temperature I think I'm a vampire 😉

SomewhereInAnotherLife · 08/06/2021 20:44

Generally between 52 and 56 according to my Apple Watch - though it does occasionally dip as low as 40 if I’m relaxed. It’s normal for me. I’m early 40s and fit.

ThatsMeInTheCornerThere · 08/06/2021 20:45

Mine is around 74. Is used to be in the 60's but since having long covid it's 70/80, drops to 50/60 during the night

prettyvisitor · 08/06/2021 20:45

Usually about 54 but has been as low as 51

PixieDust28 · 08/06/2021 20:58

28 and between 74-77 is that normal?!

Spied · 08/06/2021 21:03

Currently 56bpm.
I'm not fit but do take a beta-blocker

ChittyChittyBoomBoom · 08/06/2021 21:07

Mines mostly 48 but thats due to medication. And while I ak not dead sometimes energy is totally lacking.

(I am almost drawing my pension but not quite....)

NeverDropYourMoonCup · 08/06/2021 21:11

Between 68 and 74. I'm 48, fat as fuck, a smoker and in a stressful job.

It was around 52 and 65 last year before I had Covid and 105-127 for about 3 months afterwards with a whole load of random thumping from doing something as strenuous as sitting on the sofa.

Blood pressure is still 120/65 in the doctors or hospital, though. Although that may not be a good thing, as I tend to flump down on the floor if I get up too quickly, it's hot or I haven't eaten anything salty that day. A packet of pretzelsand a drink stops that most times.

My VO2 max is pretty shit, however.

Just wait until you get into heartbeat variability, sleep quality and suchlike. It's a fascinating rabbit hole to fall down.

WeeFae · 08/06/2021 21:12

Between 60 and 75 when at rest, according to my Samsung active watch.

Athinginitself · 08/06/2021 21:14

66-65 ish. Incredibly unfit so surprising.

roarfeckingroarr · 08/06/2021 21:15
  1. I'm 33 and pretty fit.
SilverBangle · 08/06/2021 21:17

My Apple Watch says 58. Taken manually it’s 73 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m still alive so not worried

Bobbiebigbum · 08/06/2021 21:18

64.... When I have to put the children to bed it goes up to about 74 or more. Bedtimes stress me the hell out.

myfuckingfreezer · 08/06/2021 21:18

53, im overweight and unfit!

AGirlsGotToDo · 08/06/2021 21:19

Pretty good and I'm quite lucky as I do a lot of cardio and my job is strenuous. I am a big girl.

What's your resting heart rate?
PinkMangoChristmas · 08/06/2021 21:19

Anywhere between 35-47 on a good day

BorderlineHappy · 08/06/2021 21:24

61 at the minute.
I'm 48 and trying to get fit.

EduCated · 08/06/2021 21:29

Generally 80-90… Been thinking for a while I should maybe see a GP, and this is just confirming that for me Blush Early 30s, not particularly fit but not terribly unfit either.

EduCated · 08/06/2021 21:29

For reference, it’s 87 now and been lay on the sofa for an hour.
