Can I show you all my first ever painting please?

I've been really enjoying adult painting by numbers. I've got loads of the paint left over so thought I'd have a go at doing a painting of my own. I say 'of my own' but I've actually copied it from an actual artists piece of work. Anyway, I'm rather chuffed with it. I've got no one to show in real life. DH not particularly interested and I'd feel bit of a knob sending a picture of it to anyone so I hope you don't mind me posting it here. This is the first painting I've ever done. Slightly embarrassed to admit that I've framed it! I've just put it in the en suit loo.

I'm definitely going to carry on, i find it really relaxing. I can't imagine ever being able to paint without copying something but that doesn't really matter does it, as long as your enjoying yourself!

It's brilliant. I was always terrible at art in school but decided earlier this year to do one of those Facebook live painting groups was lots of fun to be honest. Nothing as good as yours but was still good fun. You were totally right to frame it so you back enjoy it for years to come.

Be good to see a complete original next time - you're way better than paint by numbers and recreating an existing painting.
