Anyone taken the Kinsey scale test and not scored as ‘straight’ as they thought?

I’m gay and I came out a 5 on the scale, not sure why it wasn’t a 6 seeing as I answered honestly and consider myself exclusively attracted to women. Would love to know how others tested just out of sheer curiosity.

I got a 2. Straight, but "more than incidental" gayness. I'm fine with this. Emotionally and physically, I feel more drawn to men, but have had gay fantasies in the past. I've never acted on them and wouldn't do so, it just isn't something I feel strongly about. I imagine I'm boringly typical in this respect. I do wonder if it's the same for gay ppl - do they sometimes fancy the opposite sex?! Am guessing we're all on a beautiful rainbow spectrum, lol

I can’t say I ever fancy the opposite sexy but have been with men when I was younger and hadn’t realised my sexuality yet so just went along with dating men. I don’t ever feel emotionally drawn to men but sometimes do see the odd guy who I find somewhat attractive/good looking

I got a 1. I must say the questions are a bit limited. I’ve always thought of myself as exclusively heterosexual (open to the possibility I’m not). I’m married etc.
It’s the fantasy question that I scored the incidentally homosexual on - but I’ve never fantasied about a woman - not directly, more in a way of thinking what men I find attractive would be aroused by.
Not sure where that puts me.

I came out at a 3. I've only had sex with 1 woman, compared to a reasonably extensive number of men, but my fantasy life is much less straight. The test is a bit limited obviously, I think I could easily be a 2 compared to some others.
