Inspired by all the LOD disappointment - tell me which shows ended well

My social media is completely full of people complaining that the end of Line of Duty was either rushed or rubbish or both. Same happened with Game of Thrones.

So, which series actually had a strong, satisfying end?

How to Get Away With Murder. The ending was just perfect.

Yes to How to get away with murder.
The Good Place.

The alternative ending to how i met your mother is far better than the actual one.

Sharp Objects

I think.x files ended quite well. The season.9 finale.

House too. The last season was weak.compared to the others but I think the ending was OK.

Er. Kinda.went full circle. Perfect ending.

Loved the ending to dark.skies too. Some it started strong. The middle.episodes got a bit boring but the ending was really good.

The Big Bang.

Hated the end to HIMYM! So annoying it was just about Robyn all along.

Sense8 ended well.

Downtown too.

Loved the way Queens Gambit ended too. Just perfect.

No Angels and Dinnerladies ended perfectly.

The Mentalist had a lovely ending imo.

Got wind of the HIMYM ending and refused to watch the rest of the series on principle. Had watched them all up until that point.

I hate sad or open ended endings to things. Love a flash forward into future character lives.

Six Feet Under - the finale was the best piece of television in history IMO

The Shield - absolute perfection, and the last couple of series especially are insanely good. Wish I could watch it for the first time again.

Sons of Anarchy ended pretty well, although there’s at least one whole season that is not worth watching.

I didnt like the ending to the BBT at all! Penny didnt want children. She was always clear she didnt want children. She had a great story arc, became very successful despite the others always treating her like she was thick, and the writers made her pregnant, because a woman choosing not to have children is not a valid choice. I was furious.

Alternative HIMYM ending for those who hated, or couldn't even bring themselves to watch, the one they went with ...

Blackadder. The end of Blackadder Goes Forth is stunning tv and so poignant for a comedy

Desperate Housewives had a lovely ending.

Buffy. I know the story continued in the comics but I thought the show ended exactly how it should.

I did really really want an adventures of Anya spin off though!

Jane the Virgin was a well-planned show and personally I liked the ending - beware it is a melodrama though!

GoT, Lost and Battlestar Galactica were all very disappointing for me.

Six feet under and The Americans, as mentioned, very good.

Cabin Pressure (radio 4 sitcom but honestly brilliant, was good).

Um, I have watched a lot of tv but really struggling to remember the good endings now!

I agree we've recently watched all 8 series and I really like how the ending brought everything full circle.

Blackadder fantastic ending we didn’t see that coming

The Wire simply the best series ever made the ending montage was perfect (still get emotional about Dukie)

I agree GOT was so disappointing all that time invested and it was so anticlimatic.

Im a bit torn about how Supernatural ended wasnt the ending i would have chosen

Even thought you know its going to happen the ending to Merlin is so sad (im soppy) and i wish it had ended differently
