Which is your favourite fruit pie?

Fruit pie has been requested for lunch tomorrow. My favourite (and the only one I know how to make) is apple but, out of principle, I'm never making DH another apple pie.

What's your favourite fruit pie?

In this order:

(1) Rhubarb and strawberry. Better as a crumble than a pie.
(2) Cherry (from a tin) with almond flour pastry.
(3) Apple and marzipan.
(4). Blackberry and apple. Better as a dumpling then a pie.

I have thought about this frequently and deeply.

I love all the pies very much. Except cherry, because although they sound amazing, I have never had a good cherry pie.

But if I had to choose, then apple (with plenty of brown sugar and cinnamon, served with ice cream). And rhubarb a close second (with custard).

Yes I can definitely vouch for cherry and almond pastry

In fact I make all sweet pies with a almond ish pastry
