I would say from the second images it makes me think of slugs but I wouldn’t rule out a good substance like tomato. I agree would be interesting to see the ingredients in case any might take a weird alien form.

Yes definitely complain, I found some blue plastic in a jar of Dolmios once, complained to their customer service who asked me to post it to them. They said it was part of the gloves staff in the factory wear and sent me lots of vouchers as compensation.

I definitely wouldn’t be throwing the jar away! I’d contact the company. Though the underside did remind me very much of a sun dried tomato 🤷🏻‍♀️

You need the jar, when you complain they’ll ask for the batch number & date stamp so fish it back out & seal the alien eggs tightly in there, just in case.

I had some chocolate covered plastic in a bag of choc raisins no reply from company and environmental health said that was a general common and many companies were using coivd as an excuse to not bother replying

Trading standards at your local council is the best place to go. They will look at it and tell you what it is and what to do next.
