Well, I'm never going to sleep again.

YouKnowItsTrue · 30/04/2021 01:39

It’s just a bit of burnt spawn off the bottom of the pan. Nothing to worry about. Wink

Stoppissingonmyheather · 30/04/2021 02:19

I think this is evidence from a murder and the murderer cleverly thought to dispose of the body parts in a pasta sauce making machine it could be the roof of someone's mouth tbh....

Stoppissingonmyheather · 30/04/2021 02:20

Was it sicilian sauce?? No mouth=no more talking...

WrongWayApricot · 30/04/2021 02:32

I think it's a conchiglie pasta shell from the underside pic, no idea what's on the other side though... Burnt bits?

stackemhigh · 30/04/2021 03:12

It's cavolo nero.

GlamGiraffe · 30/04/2021 03:33

I reckon thats a fairly dignificant layer of mould growth from the top of the jar. The smooth side was probably facing upwards and the uneven surface touching the sauce. The seal between the lid and jar would have been damaged long ago allowing air and bacteria to grow...i hope thats all it is...if on the other hand its alien sporn being spread via pasta sauce....

Frownette · 30/04/2021 04:13

Ummm... get your money back OP.

TerrifiedandWorried · 30/04/2021 07:10

OP said brand beginning with n was ok so surely not Napolina?

daisychain01 · 30/04/2021 07:15

Aubergine

HelpPlsArhhgg · 30/04/2021 07:17

I thought op said it did begin with an ‘n’
HelpPlsArhhgg · 30/04/2021 07:17

@Staffy1

It's horrifying. It belongs in the bin with the rest of the jar. Instead it's been washed, photographed and discussed at length - it'll be demanding it's own dressing room soon.
😂😂🤣
Xtraincome · 30/04/2021 08:40

Pretty sure it's a horcrux. Basilisk fang will sort it out no problem.

PleaseReferToMeAsBritneySpears · 30/04/2021 09:27

Is it one of these with something from hell growing on it?

Found this in a jar of pasta sauce.
Puzzledandpissedoff · 30/04/2021 09:45

Are you there OP?

OP ..... ????

brightwave · 30/04/2021 10:06

marking my place!

rottielove · 30/04/2021 10:43

Yikes I don't know what that is but I once found broken glass in a jar of pasta sauce... I kid you not.

PleaseReferToMeAsBritneySpears · 30/04/2021 10:58

I suppose it might be quite easy to chip the neck of the jar on the production line. Frightening really.

MyGrassIsBrowner · 30/04/2021 11:14

Place marking 😁

MrsPinkingtonSmythe · 30/04/2021 11:42

Are you there OP?

OP ..... ????

Still here, me and Globby are on a national tour today to see if anybody can identify him!! I've had a reply from the company saying they're going to send a pre-paid envelope round to collect Globby for identification and classification.

YourCakesAreShit · 30/04/2021 15:20

Chop a bit off him and keep it, in case he gets 'lost' in transit!

Puzzledandpissedoff · 30/04/2021 16:00

Thank god for that, OP - was beginning to wonder Grin

Definitely agree about keeping part of Globby back though; apart from anything else you wouldn't want to forget him, would you? (Or perhaps you would ...)
