It’s just a bit of burnt spawn off the bottom of the pan. Nothing to worry about.

I think this is evidence from a murder and the murderer cleverly thought to dispose of the body parts in a pasta sauce making machine it could be the roof of someone's mouth tbh....

Was it sicilian sauce?? No mouth=no more talking...

I think it's a conchiglie pasta shell from the underside pic, no idea what's on the other side though... Burnt bits?

I reckon thats a fairly dignificant layer of mould growth from the top of the jar. The smooth side was probably facing upwards and the uneven surface touching the sauce. The seal between the lid and jar would have been damaged long ago allowing air and bacteria to grow...i hope thats all it is...if on the other hand its alien sporn being spread via pasta sauce....

It's horrifying. It belongs in the bin with the rest of the jar. Instead it's been washed, photographed and discussed at length - it'll be demanding it's own dressing room soon.

Yikes I don't know what that is but I once found broken glass in a jar of pasta sauce... I kid you not.

I suppose it might be quite easy to chip the neck of the jar on the production line. Frightening really.

Still here, me and Globby are on a national tour today to see if anybody can identify him!! I've had a reply from the company saying they're going to send a pre-paid envelope round to collect Globby for identification and classification.

Chop a bit off him and keep it, in case he gets 'lost' in transit!
