Taylor Swift.

Her new albums I think are just amazing. Best ones I've listened to in a few years.

My favourite songs are exile from folklore and tolerate it from evermore. They really hit home because I've had similar issues with past relationships.

Anyone else ? Whenever I mention to my friends that Taylor is my new favourite artist I get funny looks!

I love her and have done for years. Probably from Red onwards.

I love all her stuff but I've really loved the recent albums. They were so beautifully written and arranged. She has such an amazing talent for capturing a story and emotion. Her breakup songs are incredible especially tracks like All Too Well.

Favourites from Folklore are Exile, Mirrorball and August.
Ivy, Champagne Problems and Long Story Short from Evermore.

I was at Wembley for Reputation and it was one of the best nights of my life, the whole show was incredible!
I was meant to see her twice last year and still gutted that I didn't.
My mates are a bit bemused as I'm usually into alternative stuff but I love pop too.

The film Someone Great was inspired by Taylor's music then Taylor wrote the song after watching Someone Great so the two writers have been inspiring each other's work without realising it.

I love her she is just fantastic. She's been a favourite of mine since her Fearless album. The newest stuff is brilliant isn't it. I adore 'the one' and 'Betty' on Folklore. I'm also a sucker for some of the older stuff too. 'I knew you were trouble', 'dear John' - all that stuff!

I used to be when her music first came out then I went off it around "Lover" and fell hugely back in love with Evermore and Folklore. I Think I prefer the country type songs - Cowboy like me is one of my favourites and Tolerate it.

I think her re-releases "Taylors versions" show so much growth in her voice and style. Her lyrics are so so beautiful too. I enjoy illustrating lines from her songs.

Finding a lyric for a tattoo is such a challenge! There are so many good ones! And you want it to be just perfect! I remember being in school and the trend was getting a lyric engraved on your new iPod and, oh my, the pressure was ON to have the perfect lyric 😅 I think I deliberated for about 2 months before picking one (not Taylor unfortunately lol but an equally great lyric) 🤣 it would take me years to pick one for a tattoo!

I love her music and there's something about her ability to capture every feeling of love and heartbreak that has, on occasion, made me catch my breath in recognition (August, The 1, Clean, Tis the Damn Season, all of 1989 etc). Epiphany has me fighting back tears and This is me Trying reminds me of an alcoholic friend of mine who is so much more than her struggle to stay sober

I thjnk she is incredibly talented as a song writer, the lyrics to songs are just beautiful.

My favourites at the moment are Exile and Champagne Problems. Love to belt them out in the car.

Watched the Moss Americana film a while ago and loved her even more after that.

I basically listen to the taylor swift Spotify playlist which is a mix off all her songs...
Every time I listen a song jumps out and becomes my favourite..... at the moment it's "no body no crime"

I also didn't really get on with 'Lover' but 'Reputation' few on me over time so maybe I need to give it more of a chance. 'Folklore' was much more me again. 'The 1' and 'invisible string' are probably my favourites.

Ooh hello! I loved her first album and maybe her second when they came out but didn’t like it when she lost the country side, but I’ve just downloaded folklore and evermore off the back of this thread so can’t wait for my commute to work!

Her songs about being a child make me sob - I can’t remember the names of the two that I mean, but when has ‘memorise what it sounded like when your dad gets home. Remember the footsteps, remember the words said...’ my dad died in 2019 and it reminds me of him so much.

The other one has ‘I know you were on my side, even when I was wrong and I love you for giving me your eyes, for staying back and watching me shine..’ makes me sob every time!!

I'm a new swifty! Not really into pop music but always enjoyed her singles when heard on the radio. When I heard she had realised more alternative albums I listened to them both and fell in love. I adore lover too.

Has anyone seen her Netflix film? Well worth a watch, she comes across so well.

Oh I have so many favourite lyrics!

My favourite ones at the moment are from August - "but I can see us lost in the memory, August slipped away like a moment in time"

Champagne problems - " you had a speech your speechless" and " she would've made a lovely bride what a shame she's fucked in her head". I have mastered the art of a well timed cough on that song if the kids come in when I'm listening to it!

I would absolutely love to see her live. Hopefully she will do a new tour soon. I will be the crazy lady staying up until midnight trying to get tickets!
