What's your most upsetting tv death?

Just watching Bones for the first time and absolutely gutted about Sweets which made me wonder which other tv deaths have upset MNers.

Lots of potential for spoilers here so apologies in advance.

Bobby Simon in NYPD Blue

Mark Green in ER. It doesn't matter how many times I watch it, I just sob and sob.

In Buffy, Joyce's actual death didn't get me so much as Anya's speech in response to it. The most heartbreaking moment in the Buffyverse was the moment Fred died and Illyria took over in Angel. And the gang watching the video after Doyle sacrifices himself: "Is that it? Am I done?"

Yes this, I thought Sam's was quite sweet/brave, but poor Alex and her "I can go home Gene" and then his face, and hers as she realises... 💔

Also, Jonathan Creek. There was a episode where they in a house and girls kept going missing. A very dark episode.

Yy to Poussey. The episode showing her back story was heartbreaking.

The death at the end of the last series of Unforgotten really got me upset. Seemed so unfair.

Oh I forgot about Doyle. He was a fantastic character. The actor has passed away, too.
