What's your most upsetting tv death?

Just watching Bones for the first time and absolutely gutted about Sweets which made me wonder which other tv deaths have upset MNers.

Lots of potential for spoilers here so apologies in advance.

Spooks provided lots of deaths most of which felt unbearable at the time: worst was Ruth...and Harry's tears. Then Colin, Adam and lovely Danny. Thank goodness they didn't kill Harry off!

Elise in The Tunnel. DH and I both sat stunned and in tears for a good while afterwards.

Mike. Desperate Housewives. Bawled my fucking eyes out.

Arsehole writers.

User I would not dream of watching any update. Cheryl Campbell all the way! It was so so good.

Criminal minds when Hotch's wife gets killed by the reaper. So sad when the whole team are listening to it and can't get there in time. I was so happy when Jack was still alive though.

Lucy ER. I couldn't sleep after that episode and tried to tell a colleague about it the following day but they didn't watch ER and thought amusing that I was so affected by a storyline.

Poussey in OITNB and the final episode of OITNB was very upsetting.
Dana in L Word. The writer admitted in an interview, regretting killing off the character.
The spooks episode with the deep fat fryer also upset me for a long time. I never watched another episode after viewing that graphic scene. I think I read that many felt the same way.

I stopped watching Orange is the New Black because of Pousseys death

Was Judy Mallet in Corrie the one that died of a DVT after a car accident or something? I vaguely remember, was a kid at the time that worried about EVERYTHING so whatever it was I worried about it for weeks after, if that was her and I'm not misremembering?

Meg in Home and Away! She was young and had cancer and died on the beach at sunset in the arms of her boyfriend. This was way back in early ‘90’s. I was only 18 and it really moved me. To the point that it’s probably the only scene from home and away that I actually remember! And I doubt anyone else does!

I remember Meg in Home and Away too, I think because she was young and so was I it hit home, they've recently killed off Sonia in Neighbours in the same way but it didn't bother me as much.

And absolutely any dog in any tv or film! They must be the worst deaths out of all of them
