Mrs Hinch- what happened to Minky?!

DarlingWithoutYou · 23/04/2021 17:24

Just that, really. Minky has disappeared entirely, along with Pinky and the others. She used to 'put them to bed' every night too and never does that anymore, ever.

Also she used to spray Lenor mixed with water round her whole house and has stopped that too! (I suspect because she now works with Febreze).

This is not a Hinch bashing thread please... I happen to like her! I'm just genuinely curious.

What? Who puts sponges to bed? I'm aware of her and the sponges, but putting them to bed is just weird.

Cocolapew · 23/04/2021 17:36

They're sponges!? I though they must be cats 😳

FedNlanders · 23/04/2021 17:37

Because she does not need them anymore to make money ;)

IndecentCakes · 23/04/2021 17:38

I like her cleaning stuff but I can't seem to find them in amongst the strange videos with the squeaky voice music...I'm probably just really old..

ComDummings · 23/04/2021 17:39

They prob can’t afford her fees anymore Grin

Yep.
PattyPan · 23/04/2021 17:44

She hardly seems to have any cleaning content now, I guess she wants to be more of a general lifestyle influencer now she has found enough fame

IndecentCakes · 23/04/2021 17:46

Oh, it's not just me, then? I do like a bit of cleaning inspiration sometimes.

Bordois · 23/04/2021 17:46

The contract has finished

mrsdavegrohl · 23/04/2021 17:47

She used a minky the other day in her bathroom. I suspect she's no time to put them to bed because she isn't short of content at the moment and is days away from giving birth so probably better things to do of an evening.

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 23/04/2021 17:48

Lenor fabric softener? Why would you spray it around the house? (Disclaimer: I have no clue, I'm the opposite of Mrs Hinch)

I mix fabric softener with water and use it to spray and freshen up the house, it’s better and cheaper than Fabreeze , it works for me ...

Magnificentmug12 · 23/04/2021 17:57

They can’t afford her anymore or she wants new things to advertise. I imagine she will go more into lifestyle now rather than cleaning.

TrashKitten10 · 23/04/2021 17:58

Doesn't fabric conditioner increase flammability of fabrics? Certainly not something I'd want to be spraying willy nilly around the house.

She uses items she's paid to use, if she's signed with other companies those products won't feature on her social media anymore
Chunkymenrock · 23/04/2021 18:03

Spraying fabric softener around the house? Wtf? Inhaling chemicals into your lungs via a fine mist, coating carpets and surfaces in a greasy chemical film and wasting time and money to boot?

IndecentCakes · 23/04/2021 18:06

She was spraying her bed with diluted Zoflora once iirc.

Wtf Confused I would not be surprised to hear that her children ended up with asthma unfortunately

And everything would be greasy. I don't even use lenor on my washing Grin
hm246 · 23/04/2021 18:43

Fabric softener is flammable so think she had to stop advertising that she did that.

Magnificentmug12 · 23/04/2021 19:48

I’m glad as I had a friend copy her and the first time I walked into her house since the hinch started I had a asthma attack!

lastqueenofscotland · 23/04/2021 20:30

Spraying fabric softener is insanely flammable

WhySoSensitive · 23/04/2021 21:15

The fabric softener is because it’s flammable. But rather than update her followers of the dangers she just stopped doing it.

I noticed a lot of what made her ‘Mrs Hinch’ had stopped. Must be all the money she’s making!

BettysCardigan · 23/04/2021 21:18

Spraying fabric softener round your house Confused

listershologram · 23/04/2021 21:19

She puts sponges to bed ? And she's an adult ?
