My mum reckons most people will be watching BBC. What are you watching? BBC for me and my mum (separate homes)

Does anyone find it rather intrusive that the cameras are on the Quen, someone who has just lost her husband of over 70 years? She can't even grieve in private.

Seeing Sophie with her arms round James and Louise has set me off. He was their grandpa too and they are still young.

Dumakey · 17/04/2021 14:54

It's the first time I ever thought The Queen looked old and frail Sad

BadEyeBri · 17/04/2021 14:54

Oh the Queen looks so small and alone. My heart goes out to her

veeeeh · 17/04/2021 14:54

Sky News, on desktop, the picture quality is amazing.

I am Irish and I take my hat off to you British, you certainly do such ceremonies, both sad and happy so so well. The music andthe backdrop of such a beautiful castle is amazing, as is the discipline and reverence of the armed forces.

Just wondered if anyone could tell me who the gentleman is who is walking beside Princess Anne's husband. Thanks.

Pinkflipflop85 · 17/04/2021 14:54

Didn't think I'd be all that emotional watching this, but watching the queen walk in on her own just broke me.

namechangedyetagain · 17/04/2021 14:54

The Queen looks lost. Heart is breaking for her

megletthesecond · 17/04/2021 14:56

They aren't going up the stairs are they?!

persistentwoman · 17/04/2021 14:56

The Queen looking so lost and frail in that damned mask reminds me of all those who have lost loved ones in the last year and have been unable to grieve / be comforted by their family.....

ilovesooty · 17/04/2021 14:56

At least the weather is good for it. It would have been miserable if it had been raining.

purrswhileheeats · 17/04/2021 14:56

Have they put Peter Philips between William and Harry? Shock

RampantIvy · 17/04/2021 14:56

I agree persistentwoman

Sandsnake · 17/04/2021 14:57

BBC, obviously!

atracurious · 17/04/2021 14:57

What's the flag on the coffin?

The bit where Louise, Sophie and James bowed to his coffin has nearly broken me. So dignified

UsedToBeSeventeen · 17/04/2021 14:57

@veeeeh Earl of Snowdon, Princess Margaret’s son.

ilovesooty · 17/04/2021 14:57

Yes. It was announced before.

They are!
Mrsorganmorgan · 17/04/2021 14:58

BBC

sashagabadon · 17/04/2021 14:58

BBC, very moving imo

Member869894 · 17/04/2021 14:58

I wouldn't want to be them carrying that coffin up all those steps

alongtimeagoin2019 · 17/04/2021 14:58

I think it’s Princess Margaret’s son

megletthesecond · 17/04/2021 14:58

I can't watch the stairs.

ILoveYou3000 · 17/04/2021 14:59

This.

She looked so tiny and alone.

I think Charles looks devastated.

Abraxan · 17/04/2021 14:59

@purrswhileheeats

Have they put Peter Philips between William and Harry? Shock
I think he is the eldest, hence the positioning.
