What's the funniest name you've heard of for a family pet?

A friend told me today that they've finally named their new Shih tzu puppy who they got a week ago. He's gorgeous and fluffy and they've chosen the name Monkey! I know it's none of my business but I really don't think that name suits him and it sounds a little bit silly... but it's kinda cute at the sane time I guess!

This is pretty outing to anyone who went to the same school, but my primary school had a black pot-bellied pig called Sage.

Then one year, Sage disappeared and a few days later, we had "Hog Roast" on Bonfire Night!

Have known a pair of cats called Dough and Nuts.

My boyfriend at college had two fish called scuba and diver, one died and I will never forget going to his door and him standing there with a mug in his hand with the little fish tail sticking out thr top and saying tearfully “diver died”. For some reason it tickled me and I got the giggles really, really bad. He wasn’t happy at all by my reaction. 😂

We'd like to get another rescue dog at some point.

DS is a big fan of the Foo Fighters & has put forward 'Dave Growl' as a possibility. I think it might be a winner.

Probably our first family dog. I was given naming rights: Called him Special Agent Rylie Fynn - from Buffy. I was 15 at the time and going through a huge Rylie crush, and an even bigger Buffy obsession. Dad actually put that down on the vet records. God knows what they thought. 🤣
