When you hear the name Marley, do you think boy or girl? (Or dog? )

Surely a girl would be Marleigh, or Marlie, or Marlee.

And the ey is a bit girly for a boy, I would tough it out with Marl, that’s a proper chap’s name, earthy, strong, a bit dense........

Boy then Labrador. Of the 2 Labs I know called Marley one is a bitch, one is a dog. Of the 3 children I know called Marley there are 2 girls, 1 boy.
