Marley - boy or girl?

When you hear the name Marley, do you think boy or girl? (Or dog? )

A girl. I’ve never met a Marley though so I don’t know why, think I may have seen a female Marley on TV at one point.

Boy. Or dog.

I know a teen boy called Marley but think it would suit a girl just as well.

Either. First thought was of Marley from Marleys Ghosts.

Hmmm I know a boy Marley and a relative of DH had a baby and sent a picture saying Marley and the weight. Baby was wearing white and we both still don't know if Marley is a boy or a girl. We just said ohh lovely name, congrats. Was the dog in the film male?

I had some clients a few years ago with a young daughter called Marley, what a lovely name I thought. Only her name wasn't Marley; it was Miley (after Miley Cyrus) but sounded completely different in their strong Yorkshire accents
