Children’s mispronunciations which have stuck.

My son said ‘macamori’ instead of macaroni when he was younger. The whole family still refer to it as macamori, years later.

My friends son would ask for a ‘dinky dous’ when he wanted a drink of juice. We still say that now.

Any similar children’s mispronunciation’s which the whole family have adopted as their own?

DD now 22 used to say BB Bike for motorbike so that has stuck

DS now 16 couldn't say screwdriver until he was about 9 so it is forever known as a doo haber

Not so much a mispronunciation but a code word was DH would say SWs instead of sweets when they were small, DS still asks if he can have some SWs sometimes!

DS1 (16) still says 'otay' for OK. He even uses it in text messages. And 'tant find it' when he can't find something. Both based on 2 year old him.
We also 'un-insideout' clothes

DS2 (14) still talks about 'bampires' rather than vampires. Grin He's quite sad that his niece has learned to say his name properly though.
