@Juanbablo

Why so cheap? Something like that would be several million here.
Location, location, location. Lincolnshire is cheap.
lalaloopyhead · 27/03/2021 19:59

I've seen worse...

roarfeckingroarr · 27/03/2021 20:00

FFS that's the same price as my 2 bed flat in London

Suzi888 · 27/03/2021 20:04

Pic 8🤣

thenightsky · 27/03/2021 20:06

@Coffeepot72

But would you ever want to live in Scunthorpe??!!
Why not? Its a perfectly nice town. Where do you live now?
lalafafa · 27/03/2021 20:09

It’s a house of many personalities

jessstan2 · 27/03/2021 20:17

Wow - and the price! You'd get a three bed house for that where I live.

It's lovely. I'd want to alter some things but most people do. However, bit big for me on my own :-).

KatherineJaneway · 27/03/2021 20:18

For such a big house, the kitchen is tiny.

MintyMabel · 27/03/2021 20:21

Lovely house but I’d want way more kitchen than that for 700k.

Sstrongtn · 27/03/2021 20:21

Right that’s it, I’m not far away, I’m taking the kids and a hidden camera and viewing it.

I’ll take lifejackets for them and if I never report back send help Grin

@Coffeepot72

But would you ever want to live in Scunthorpe??!!
That is the main issue with this house
littlepattilou · 27/03/2021 20:27

That's AMAZING for £700,000. Shock You couldn't get a shed for that in London.

Hugexfilesfan · 27/03/2021 20:27

New property for the Radford family Grin

littlepattilou · 27/03/2021 20:28

Who would wanna live in SCUNTHORPE? Confused

Such snobbery! Hmm

though I do recoil slightly that the name has the word CUNT in it. Blush

BurgundyBells · 27/03/2021 20:31

Someone has definitely positioned that trampoline so you can jump onto it from the upper floor!

Posyc · 27/03/2021 20:33

Where are all the windows?

littlepattilou · 27/03/2021 20:34

@Hugexfilesfan

New property for the Radford family Grin
Grin Naughtyyyyyyyyyy......... Grin
ProseccoandPizza · 27/03/2021 20:49

No one else picked up that the games/cinema/large lounge with balcony room is actually where the pool is?

So the trampoline actually sits atop a swimming pool or the pool table does at least?!

RosesAndHellebores · 27/03/2021 20:51

Very near water - potential damp/ingress issues.
It's a development opportunity.
What would the potential be if knocked down and 10 2 bed flats built or 6-8 3 bed homes. Would that be viable bearing in mind proximity to water?

I'd want and architect's report with specialist surveys and planning permission to touch it with a barge pole.

perkymoose · 27/03/2021 20:58

It looks like a Montessori nursery Grin I like it though and wowww 17 bedrooms for 700k you might be lucky to get a two bed flat in London where I live lol.

needadvice54321 · 27/03/2021 20:59

17 bedrooms?! In my area (SE England) we'd get a 5 bed for that money!! I need to move to Scunthorpe...

RB68 · 27/03/2021 21:00

My first thought was care home

ITs weird as some of it has been lavished with decoration and some of it frankly looks abandoned! The outside is weird for starters. Would do better for being divided down for extended family in several family units

OhYouBadBadKitten · 27/03/2021 21:29

It has so many toilets!

BareGrylls · 27/03/2021 21:31

Scunthorpe isn't as bad as it's reputation but even so this isn't in Scunthorpe it's in a lovely village about 15 miles away. 5 minutes from motorway.
I don't live there but I know it.
Yes £700k, admittedly its all ott but it gives you an idea of what you can buy if you are not fixed on London.

BikeRunSki · 27/03/2021 21:33

It’s in an area at risk of flooding from the Trent
