It's not really Scunthorpe though! Butterwick is where all the posh folk live 😂. £700,000 is very very expensive for housing round here. My house was recently valued at £65,000 for comparison. Though you do get 17 bedrooms

Not enough bedrooms for me and there's more turf indoors than out. The trampoline placement is sheer genius though, who needs stairs!

Well that trampoline area is an accident waiting to happen!

I really like it. If I was up for running a b&b or an Airbnb I'd think it was a great property in lovely surroundings. Some redecorating for sure but I love many parts of it. The big kitchen is gorgeous!

Given that you only get a 3 bed semi round here for that price, I almost had a serious moment where I thought the two adult DC and partners, DH and I, for less than £250k each, could have 5 or 6 bedrooms for each couple. I don’t think we’d be in danger of getting under each other’s feet! You can barely get a flat round here for 250k.

With a little investment you could turn it into three decent sized self-contained apartments, keeping maybe a communal trampoline area. Your own private housing block!

But would you ever want to live in Scunthorpe??!!

I quite like Scunny too and feel defensive when I see it getting slagged off. Its a small town with a good community feel and very friendly.
