What's your Chinese order?

Usually we go for lemon chicken and crispy chilli beef. What's your order? I really fancy Chinese take away for dinner tonight. I think I might go for a few starters instead of a main- hot and sour soup, and yuk sung.

Veg in black bean sauce, boiled rice, salt and chilli chips and curry sauce if going all out 😂

minipie · 25/03/2021 17:23

Prawn crackers, satay, sesame prawn toasts, duck pancakes, won ton soup, crispy chilli beef, noodles with veg, rice. We’re all about the starters...

Fivemoreminutes1 · 25/03/2021 17:23

I like special fried rice and a couple of big vegetable spring rolls

Our local won ton is a mix of prawn and pork and spring onions in won ton wrappers and with a chicken broth and some pakchoi. I love it.

ShirleyPhallus · 25/03/2021 17:28

The mains I can take or leave but whatever it is needs to be accompanied by Chinese chips. DH had never had them when I met him!! Can you believe it! He’s a changed man now mind

If I’m out in normal life I get duck pancakes for starters!

We order the appetisers but double up and eat everything as a main, it consists of:
Chicken satay skewers
Prawn toast
Spring rolls
BBQ ribs
Seaweed (which we never really eat)
Prawn crackers

Extras:
Pot of satay sauce
Butterfly king prawns in bread crumbs

Main:
Quarter duck

I much prefer a selection of dip-able small things than mains! Although I do like a Kung Po chicken once in a while.
