Boy boy girl or boy boy boy?

Which did you have, if you have 3 ( or more) DC? Just curious really. I have boy, boy and contemplating #3 but very unsure.

dd1 has different father(ex) to dds 2 and 3 (current partner) but both dads have only brothers ( ex one of 4 boys, dp one of 3).

I know a family where 3 generations have had 4-5 kids and all of them in each generation were the same sex as each other.

@HeyGirlHeyBoy is that a fact more likely another boy? Why? I always thought it was 50% each time but some families only have one sex and others have 5 kids same sex thee must be reasons why. Would love that know more xx

Boy, boy, boy for me.

If you'd only have another with the hope for a girl though I'd think very carefully before continuing. I'm sure I've read that the more of one sex you have that statistically you're more likely to have the same again so the odds are more in favour of another boy.

Usually it's just luck of the draw. It's 50% each time, approximately. That said, there are some families that contain sex-linked diseases (so genetic diseases that are carried on the sex chromosomes- the X or the Y) that cause miscarriages in foetuses of one sex, so all live births are the other.

boy, boy, girl, girl. same as my grandma. i’m one of three that was girl, girl, boy. my other grandma had nine, six boys and three girls.
