Boy boy girl or boy boy boy?

Which did you have, if you have 3 ( or more) DC? Just curious really. I have boy, boy and contemplating #3 but very unsure.

The sonographer with DS3 told me that having two boys already, the chances of having another was around 75%.

Anecdotally I know lots of families with either BBB or GGG.

Interestingly, it appears that there may be a genetic factor in males (because they are the ones that provide the Y chromosome that will determine whether the baby is a boy), so that some men are more likely to father boys. Even there I read it that the probability of another boy is only slightly higher than 50%, so still plenty of chance you will have a girl.

Now I think about it, my paternal grandfather had a girl and two boys, my father had one of each, and my children went....

Girl, girl, boy here. Was really sure it would be girl, girl, girl as I'd heard once you have 2 of the same it becomes more likely to have a third the same. DS was a real surprise!

Your chance of another boy is much higher than a girl, having had two. Same with either sex.

You have a 50% chance of either sex each time.

Of the families I know who had two boys then a third:
