I don’t think any heads will roll on this. It’s a deeper problem and lots of it has to with hiring and retaining best talent unfortunately. We really do need more women in police now.

Tickled me and prompted a username change.

More women in police is a good idea in theory but in practice reading threads on here they often seem to get subsumed into the culture.

Seriously? I thought you will get my joke. I have been bleating on and on about incompetency and systems making mistakes and having deep flaws, and the need to change them radically. Whether it is sexism and systematic failure in police or the need of the RF for PR opportunity off of a murder victim.

My nephew is a police officer and even I can see how Sarah was badly let down by the police. Also as an institution they do need a major reeducation of how they handle domestic violence, stalking, intimidation and a number of other things. This has been much needed for many years.
