How will the season go? How will the newest Schumacher fare ?

I can't wait for the first race.

I do get what you mean, and the result last year was a travesty. BUT I am willing to draw a line, hope lessons have been learned and start 2022 afresh, give it a chance, like.

I completely agree with you though.

But maybe that whole mess will mean that this season will be better than ever. Proper racing with consistent decision-making and an end to lobbying over the headphones. I was actually seriously worried for lewis' safety after the brake-testing incident. Hopefully, last year's debacle will result in some improvements.

Also, I do think that all elite sports suffer from an element of manipulation. Like premiership football, it's all about money. If you want to see a real football game you have to watch the local team. And if you want to watch real racing you have to go to touring cars. That's what I think anyway! Plus, Silverstone is so expensive..

I don't think the FIA decided they wanted Max to win. On the evidence, I think Masi crumbled under pressure from the teams and got it horribly wrong. When the choice is conspiracy or cock up, cock up is almost invariably the correct answer.
