Harry always seemed to get on well with Kate, so I'd be surprised if he would endorse Meghan lying about her?

The live blog isn’t very clear on what was said about Archie’s skin colour or security? Can somebody who’s watching elaborate on what was said please?

The title thing is random because Archie is entitled to be HRH Prince Archie the second his grandfather becomes King.

The only person who could change that would be the Queen, then later Charles. That’s a monarch decision.

kate won't deny or say anything thats not how it will work

Stories that Kensington Palace have issued official denials over:
A claim Kate wears hair extensions.
A claim Kate uses botox.
A claim Kate is "exhausted" by the extra work on her after Harry and Meghan left.
A claim William "socialised" with Rose Hanbury.
A claim William was emotionally dependent on Carole.

Kensingon Palace issue official denials and press statements - sometimes very aggressive press statements - at the drop of a hat.

The idea they won't issue a denial over the flower bouquet story, if it is not true, is beyond belief.

Besides even if they don't issue a formal press release they will certainly leak it to the press. Literally yesterday the tabloids were running stories "sources close to Will and Kate say they think...". If this story is true then 10000% we'll see a story "Sources close to Kate say this never happened."

Royal family or not, you don’t speak about your in laws so publicly like this and expect to have any form of relationship with them in the future.

Burning bridges seems to be something M has been been incredibly unlucky in having to do repeatedly.

I thought that they stopped talking money off them. I would have thought the 100 million dollars that everyone is harping on about would suffice.

@Lampzade 100 million dollars is a lot to us but when you have upkeep of expensive houses ,staff , security I bet it all adds up and guess its not tax free ? Plus again papers say 100 million but who knows

People in or connected to the RF were openly speculating how dark Archie's skin tone would be, including having multiple conversations with Harry but without Meghan to share their concerns that he might be born with dark skin, and that if he was born with darker skin it would be a problem for the RF. Oprah explicitly asked Meghan who exactly had those conversations with Harry and she refused to answer and said "I won't answer because it would be extremely damaging to those individuals."

The RF didn't want Archie to be given a Prince title and announced Archie would not be entitled to any kind of security, Harry fought back and the RF were very insistent on no security for Archie.

Sounds awful - imagine having to have a discussion about the colour of your future baby's skin!!

She’s mistaken that its protocol. Only the eldest son of the eldest son of the Prince of wales is entitled.

However, the Queen did issue Letters Patent to make all of William’s children Prince and Princess. The same could have been done for Harry’s.

If they were talking about changing the LP’s to mean Archie won’t be entitled to HRH Prince when Charles is King that is a change.

So she’s saying that they wanted a title for Archie, why not use the Earl of Dumbarton (sp?) one he was entitled to then? There’s a strong stench of bullshit from lots of these claims which is a shame as I’m sure the core facts that they weren’t as well protected as W&K are true. The fact is that family care about the institution more than any person and they’re further away and therefore more disposable- an awful way to treat family.

The suggestion is that the decision to say he wasn’t having security was linked to him not being titled. She’d rather he was titled and have security than have no security

Are you even watching? She didn't give a shit about him being a prince, just the fact him not being a prince meant he wasn't allowed to have security, when his position clearly meant he needed security.

She just didn't want her baby to be in danger.

Have a feeling that the colour remark will be from Philip, and other people's concerns will be re paternity if Archie came out dark, as Meghan is white passing. But she does indeed say that she didn't know an explanation for their concerns.
