Seems like it's a good insight as to what life as a royal is like. Her independence being taken from her seems to have affected her badly.

Or giving up her independence wasn’t worth it. Undoubtedly she’s been terribly affected and it sounds an awful life, but it was one she went into willingly as a grown adult and Harry should have prepared her for.

This all seems like a shedload of bad feeling with no real gain for anyone.

Also, it feels like a transatlantic OJ trial situation, where 90% of people are taking a position based purely on race, which feels horrible and divisive.

On the other hand you might as well take a position based on race, dice, or tarot cards, because how do work out the truth from all these conflicting versions?
