Well Meghan was keen enough on it to have all the emblems of the countries embroidered on her wedding veil.

The RF offered them a less showy wedding, time to settle in etc but H&M wanted a giant fanfare and to ‘hit the ground running’.

I do suspect that Harry wanted, both for himself and for Meghan, to have a wedding on the scale of William and Katherine's, with all the glitz and the TV coverage and the fabulous guest list. Me too! Me too! FOMO!

You might want to check out the full version (rather than the edited clip) of DW before referencing him in defence of H&M.

It's also rather ironic in choosing to believe "one" sentence a tabloid journalist has said whilst dismissing everything else as lies and vitriol.

He's no friend whatsoever to H&M and in the full version of that piece displays imho a very naive (at best) understanding of racism.

She's staring at Kate, there are other examples too. She realised too late that Harry was the 'wrong' brother. She thought the RF were all equally influential. Harry is pissed he is not a top player either, both as bad as each other.

Fantastic. I am not a royalist and neither a supporter of H&M as such. Were it not for the vitriolic racist abuse Meghan received and receives I really couldn't give a shiny shit about the Royals. I can't celebrate the commonwealth because frankly the idea of celebrating an empire which violently and ruthlessly colonized and pillaged land, resources, artefacts from these places is nothing to celebrate. That it has been rebranded as some sort of kumbaya annual event in which we're supposed to dance and sing along to our freedom is utter nonsense.

I agree completely, but the Queen seems to like it (she can pretend she still has an Empire like mummy and daddy did) and the various nations seemed keen to join (they can get priority for support)

Then there's this thecommonwealth.org/public-debt-management-programme which is no doubt useful if someone finds their ruler's siphoned off the budget into their Swiss bank account
