Rose Hanbury went to dinner with Harry just before he proposed to Meghan, there is nothing to show she was spending time alone with William who’d just become parent again. From so much coming out now, that probably went down badly with Meghan and there might have been a family spat that kept Rose at arms length for a while but who the fuck cares, these people might be on the same planet but they inhabit a completely different world than anyone posting on these ridiculous threads.
The RF are all about tradition, history and duty. Meghan isn’t, quite the opposite. On a day to day basis the RF are outdoorsy, horsey and hardy. Meghan isn’t remotely like that at all. The RF offered them a less showy wedding, time to settle in etc but H&M wanted a giant fanfare and to ‘hit the ground running’. Clash of cultures, beliefs, any way you look at them they are oil and water.
Harry is a dolt for saying he’s protecting his family. he isn’t protecting the RF, and he certainly isn’t protecting his pregnant wife (who has already suffered an mc) by bringing on the stress of media attention, controversy and blowback he must have known this interview would attract. Its all of their own making and totally unnecessary, they have everything they could want and there is nothing preventing them from getting on with doing good works and leading a happy life.
