These are the most horrendous Adverts I have ever seen. They actually make me feel ill. Certainly would not even consider that perfume. Awful advert. The people who thought of that need sacking.

Talking of advertising success, Lynx is an example of a great campaign. Tongue in cheek, hits its target audience and yes Christmas only begins once my dcs receive their Lynx gift sets every year 😂😂😂😂😂

PussyCatEatingEasterEggs · 28/02/2021 08:18

@Shufflebudge

I did. I waited until it was due for renewal though, it wasn't a knee-jerk thing and I'm not entirely illogical

And you’re the one arguing advertising doesn’t work. When you swapped insurance solely because you like a cartoon meerkat....

What???

You mean Sergei and Aleksander aren't real Meercats.

LivinLaVidaLoki · 28/02/2021 08:23

It definitely feels very "manson family"

Noshowlomo · 28/02/2021 08:24

Daisy daisy daisy daisy....
Fuck off cindy Crawfords daughter and the other two that you don’t really notice. I hate it!!!

FuckyouBrennan · 28/02/2021 08:31

You don’t notice Aube Jolicoeur?? Really? Because of Kaia Gerber? She is beautiful

MzHz · 28/02/2021 08:32

This was one of my perfumes actually

Have worn all kinds of the variations

But I honestly don’t think I’ll buy it again because of the advert and how uncomfortable it makes me feel.

Marc Jacobs has royally fucked this one up

RomeoLikedCapuletGirls · 28/02/2021 08:32

Lol at posters thinking people aren’t affected by advertising.
That must be why billions are spent on adverts.

SabrinaTheMiddleAgedBitch · 28/02/2021 08:39

I'm so pleased someone mentioned this. It makes me feel really weird and uncomfortable Confused

FuckyouBrennan · 28/02/2021 08:39

I bought some more yesterday. Really don’t see why an advert you don’t like would stop you buying something you love 😂😂

newyearnewname123 · 28/02/2021 08:51

You seem to think adverts work just become they are memorable. I sometimes buy things because of adverts, but equally can be put off products.

I wouldn't buy this perfume because I don't like the advert, I was put off oatly recently by their "funny" ageist drivel.

No-one is completely impervious to adverts but they can do harm as well as good for a product.

Get you, ANTM's greatest fan 😂

DavidsSchitt · 28/02/2021 09:03

I like the swinging from the chand - a - li - heeeeaaar one, the chandalehhhheeeeaaaar

FuckyouBrennan · 28/02/2021 09:36

@DavidsSchitt what?

MistakenAgain · 28/02/2021 10:25

Wierd. Its a really nice perfume.

VanillaSugar2021 · 28/02/2021 10:30

I’m not sure that I would buy my DS this particular Lynx body spray. I can imagine the ad: 3 teenage boys in a corner on their own muttering “Marmite, Marmite, Marmite” and glaring at everyone.

I was thoroughly expecting them to burn a wicker man at the end. Bizarre advert.

Marzipanfruit · 28/02/2021 10:43

Haha @thecatfromjapan, I am so out of touch that Hyper Normalisation had totally passed me by.

LizBennet · 28/02/2021 10:46

Makes me proper cringe.

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 28/02/2021 10:59

How old are the girls? They look about 12

SoupDragon · 28/02/2021 11:41

They are 19/20/21.

sueelleker · 28/02/2021 13:59

@Onlinedilema

I can't stand the Vinnie Jones one either. Who the hell thinks Brut is a lovely aftershave, seriously? It's up there with that vomit inducing Old Spice. Now that did make you want to gip it smelt so foul.
My BIL used Brut; it gave me a headache.
Whatflavourjellybabyisnice · 28/02/2021 14:17

I think they are trying to be clever when they made the ad. Appearing to be amateur and being a bit clumsy and un-rehearsed is becoming popular.
When I say that, it doesn't mean I like the ad, it makes me cringe and want them to tell themselves to pull themselves together.

user1495884673 · 28/02/2021 14:27

I find it really creepy and disturbing, I think it's the disconnect between the little girl white dresses and daisies and the very adult sultry looks and bouncing boobs. I guess they are trying to appeal to teen girls who are still in a halfway house between adulthood and childhood but it misses the mark and screams paedo.

MrsBerthaRochester · 28/02/2021 14:33

Yes! This advert makes me feel really weird! I agree with a previous poster that it's definitely got picnic at hanging rock vibes. I don't know what the perfume smells like but the bottle is hideous.

zukiecat · 28/02/2021 15:29

I like it,

I like the Pagan feel of it.

I am a Pagan, by the way
