What are the most memorable, unique, or lovely dog names you've come across that you will never forget?

I met a dog called Beetlejuice today, thought it was brilliant! I also used to know a dog called midnight, never met another one but always loved the name.

I knew a sausage dog called banger and a westie called mash. Same owner

Shark. Heard yelled on a beach in NZ. Cue mild general panic and eyes searching the shore frantically waving kids back in before everyone realised he was calling his dog.

Steve my next door neighbours named their dog after my step dad!

I knew a Bernese Mountain dog called Onslow, it really suited him. Once met a labrador called Spliff, apparently the family drew lots over who got to name him and their older teenage son won

My sister in law had a cat called Laura - it was a rescue cat and came with that name. I also know two people who's cars and child share the same name! Eddie and Nancy!

My son and I play a game thinking of names you couldn't possibly call a dog. Like Derek. Or Howard. Or Alan.

My border collies have always had traditional BC names like Skye or Sharp; current one's Meggie. I'm about to find her a nice husband and will keep a puppy: longing for a dog called Weasel.
