tothesea · 20/02/2021 22:21

Silver splits the blue..

PolaDeVeboise · 20/02/2021 22:21

One thing that's understood, is that you can't buy time, but you can sell your soul and the closest thing to heaven is to rock and roll. BELTER.

NatureNeverRushes · 20/02/2021 22:22

@tothsea me too! All these years....

AStarAboveTheCity · 20/02/2021 22:25

It's the people's song. It's okay to get the lyrics wrong.

Man I love this song! Reminds me of hot, dry summers in London.

Sorry giggly Blush.

Lovely to see so many fans of that Aztec Camera song -I only know that one. Were they a one-hit wonder?-

Susie477 · 20/02/2021 22:29

‘Love’ was a classic album, I bought it at Woolies the day after Roddy performed ‘Somewhere in my heart’ on TOTP.

‘How men are’ Is still one of my all-time favourite songs.

SergeiL · 20/02/2021 22:31

Had to put it on. Thank goodness for Spotify.

Justmuddlingalong · 20/02/2021 22:32

Met Roddy a few times as we're from the same town. I'm a bit younger so was all doe eyed and starstruck. 😳
It's a staple song at weddings up here and always a floor filler, for those of us old enough to appreciate it.

AStarAboveTheCity · 20/02/2021 22:32

They were not a one hit wonder. They also did good morning Britain and working in a goldmine. I love working in a goldmine. I think they were trying to be men-feminist with that album (seriously look at the lyrics) but y'all weren't ready for that.

Halcyon days
That’s what this song reminds me of.
Being young and carefree
