I know this has been done before but it's Saturday morning and I'm BORED. Fucking bored. Also feeling sorry for myself because the cat has fallen out with me. Here are a few of my tame ones:

Line of Duty is shit
I don't like dogs
Snapped and farted wasn't funny
Baby showers are fucking hideous
Ross Geller is the best Friend 👌

There are some great ones here.

Smashed avocado, utter shit.
Not all kids have syndomes, some are just naughty/egos on legs
Bobble hats are for 8 year olds
Breast feeding is minging
Starmer is a disappointment
Captain Tom had no right to be in Barbados
Mama/Mama Bear is unspeakable and makes me think about thick people in leggings.

CatsNotDogs · 21/02/2021 09:36

Landlords shouldn't be allowed to buy more than 2 houses if the sole purpose is to benefit from tenants having to pay sky high rents. Greedy, piss taking bastards. Yes I am a homeowner.

Anything above a size 14 is too big unless you're very, very tall. Big boned my arse. Ever seen a fat skeleton?!

Lockdown should be scrapped and it's time to crack on as normal. Also the clap, the rainbow signs, the slogans have all been rammed down our throats constantly and I cannot fucking stand any of it.

I love Argos.

Nandos is overpriced, plastic shit.

Facebook has turned fully grown adults into children. "Like and share if you love your sister". Fuck off mate, I'm 36.

Mn really does hate overweight people doesn't it? Some views here are horrid.

Very, very well said, OP.

Going to add:

Toddlers are more fun and more interesting than teenagers.

@DieZensur

Going to add:

But teenagers live in their rooms (or slums) and leave you to get on with having your life back.
THisbackwithavengeance · 21/02/2021 10:11

Having lived in developing countries, I do not buy into the apparently large percentage of UK children who are living in poverty.

Most people don't give a shit about anyone other than themselves and their immediate family. All this hashtagbekind and facebook charity stuff is all wank designed to make themselves look good.

Most nurses are cold hearted bastards IMO not angels as they are portrayed in the media.

A good percentage of teachers are workshy who are loving lockdown so they can send out a few worksheets and don't actually have to go into school and work.

I don't care if people are fat or thin.

Nurses, interesting. Do you think they start out kind and end up something else?

wewillmeetagain · 21/02/2021 10:14

If you refuse the vaccine you are selfish and not nearly as intelligent as you think you are!

Onlinedilema · 21/02/2021 10:17

Thisisback agree about nurses most of them are just doing a job, they will not care for your relative the same way that you would. Agree that most people only care about their immediate family.

Maverickess · 21/02/2021 10:17

People are more than a layer of fat around their body.

You can be an adult, plan, get yourself around, hold down a job and bring up children without a driving license, or without scrounging lifts all the time.

You're not necessarily a selfish lockdown lover who wants it all to carry on indefinitely, regardless of the economic and mental health concequences, if you see the need for it to happen.

You're not necessarily a selfish granny killer who doesn't care about anyone else if you do something that goes against 'the roolz'.

Minimum wage is too low, it's in line with benefits which gives a choice of work your arse off in a minimum wage job that's got limited prospects and job benefits, or stay at home for the same income - which isn't enough, pride and self worth don't put food on the table or pay the bills. The answer is not to cut benefits, but to increase minimum wage so the government isn't supporting people in full time work.

Child maintenance should be subject to the same rules as not paying your council tax. Liability orders, bailiffs and attachment of earnings orders, or prison for refusal. For everyone. Men are just as aware of the possible concequences from sex as women, it needs to be socially unacceptable for either party to walk away. Because at the moment it's usually always the woman's fault.

People living in social housing have jobs. And pay rent, it's not free.

wewillmeetagain · 21/02/2021 10:18

@randomer I got the shock of my life when I started my training ( many moons ago) far from being nice people with a vocation at least a quarter of those in my cohort were awful vile human beings with a superiority complex! I still wonder if they are still nursing now.

FuckyouBrennan · 21/02/2021 10:22

Piers Morgan is usually right

Boris Johnson is doing a better job than any other party leader would’ve done

Putting a longer name on the birth certificate of your child that you will never, ever use just because you think it’s “right” or “proper” makes you a pretentious dick and you sound ridiculous- nobody will turn down a life saving operation from a surgeon named Alfie.

Avocado is vile

You shouldn’t have children if you -
Can afford regular holidays, days out & extra curricular activities & clubs
Plan to send them to boarding - why bother
Can’t afford new things for them

Onlinedilema · 21/02/2021 10:24

randomer possibly. Without revealing too much I often get people who want to chat. I cant, my workload is overbearing. I've worked throughout lock down under stressful conditions often 6 days a week. If I chat or take time to listen to people I still have the same workload to get through, I can't go home until it's finished and I have strict timescales. People like to assume that females are there for the love of it, not true. It's a job, a means to an end.

randomer · 21/02/2021 10:25

I am trying to liaise with hospital staff.I know they are busy but it has been heartbreaking tbh.

OohKittens · 21/02/2021 10:30

Tracy Beaker is a fucking shit mother.

MagicSummer · 21/02/2021 10:34

Football, darts, snooker, boxing and F1 motor racing are all as dull as ditchwater.
Champagne makes me feel sick - even worse are Prosecco and Cava.
Pasta is quite disgusting, however it is cooked.
Not everyone likes or can tolerate spicy, Indian, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese or any other food - why should we have to eat it if we don't like it just to please others?
Macdonalds/KFC are both awful.
Yes, I DO find Matt Hancock attractive!

FoxyTheFox · 21/02/2021 10:35

Most children are not disabled or suffering from ' a condition' they are just suffering from crap parenting

And those children don't get diagnosed. You can't just rock up to the paediatrician and get a diagnosis, there is a testing process first.

Chewingle · 21/02/2021 10:35

Seeing that 95 year old woman getting the first vaccine in the country infuriated the hell out of me. Brilliant just brilliant - a 95 year old who doesn’t work, have a mortgage, have children relying on her, indeed doing much at all other than sit in a chair in her care home - is vaccinated. Brilliant.

Chewingle · 21/02/2021 10:39

* People who buy bottled mineral water would buy tins of air if they could and would happily pay to look at the sky because then it would look better to them than it does to non-payers. *

Read This a few times and it still makes no sense to me

SquatBetty · 21/02/2021 10:44

Other peoples' children are tiresome and irritating

Breast feeding has absolutely minimal benefit especially in a first world country like the UK

Cam2020 · 21/02/2021 10:48

Parents are responsible for feeding, clothing and housing their children and should consider how they're going to afford them before having them.

OohKittens · 21/02/2021 10:48

@Chewingle agree, if myself or my husband died of the virus our children would have nobody at all.

110APiccadilly · 21/02/2021 10:49

Taxation would be generally fairer if it was done on a household basis rather than individual.

Also, the tax threshold should rise. It's ridiculous that people on minimum wage pay tax (and then frequently have to claim benefits in order to have enough to live on.)
