These threads are full of really basic banal people who think their either really common boring or bigoted views are unpopular but actually really common.

The child actors in Harry Potter were a little wooden.
Tomato sauce on bacon sandwiches is the devil's blood.
Strictly and Downton Abbey are boring and unwatchable.
Those coffee pod things are an abomination.

The gender critical views on mumsnet make me doubt the views of posters on other topics.

Obesity is a lifestyle choice???? That is an absolutely appalling thing to say and tells me everything I need to know about the person who thinks such a ridiculous thing.

I think having children is something people without much imagination do. Just feels really boring and basic.

a quick way to cull the population would be to announce a new reality tv show and shoot everyone who applied. It would probably increase the average IQ of the population.

I agree @ilikebooksandplants two children is enough. I really dislike how Will and Kate keep reproducing and now they’re [allegedly] going for a fourth.

On the other hand, I’m also what you’d consider fat and every week I run for 90 minutes, do 120 squats with 10kg weights and lift weights. I know skinny women who get out of puff going up a flight of stairs.

U are generalising people who are obese I was a slim size 10/12 then developed hypothyroidism after my daughter was born and put on more than 5 stone in as many years it is very difficult with some health issues to lose weight especially ones where one of the main symptoms is weight gain

Schools should not go back on the 8th
WFH gives a much better quality of life then going into the office.
Nursery's should be free/charge very little/working parents should have access to free childcare
Period products should be free

The amount of people in REAL poverty ( literally cannot feed themselves or kids) is far less than people on mn would have us believe.
