I've started a new one. Please join us and share the boring and mundane things happening in your world. It will be calming for all.

The days are getting longer I love it now no longer dark at five just ordered my first Dr who blu ray set, the classic Who, it will go away for Christmas. We love our flooring, hall done this week.

The dog doesn’t like the hoover. When he see it he brings me his tug toy in an attempt to distract me. This has resulted in a ridiculous situation where I hoover with one hand and play tug with the dog with the other.

Turns out humans are easily trained...

You used to be able to buy little backpack hoover things with an attachment on them for grooming your horse. Never seen one in action, but I always thought they’d be a quick way to get a new, horse-shaped doorway made in your stable wall...

I ran a different route today. I’ve been doing the same route for ages because it was the only dry one that wasn’t too long for a weekday run, but now the tides have receded a bit I was able to go another way. It was like being on holiday.

You could not pay me to approach my horse with a hoover on my back. (I’m pretty sure I know some people who would pay to see it though...)

I got home a bit early today (5pm) and the dog was out (he goes out with the dog walker at about 11.45). His social life is way more active than mine.

Hello and good evening all, packed my bag (well rucksack) and my handbag. 'The shoe' doesn't fit in anywhere and needs his own 'Beutel' (you call them bags for life?).
I will get up at 5 to have breakfast.

@Muckycat, welcome! I used to get a veg box when it was a new fangled thing, but found that I didn't like not being able to plan accordingly.

I achieved both People 2 and Present Tense 1 on Duolingo today. Both were hard one and Duo popped in several times to tell me that he believes in me.

In thread worthy news, I put several loads of washing away today. The load that is dry in the dryer can stay there until tomorrow now.,

I bought a streak freeze just in case. I don't want to make Duo unhappy. (Nobody wants to make Duo unhappy [slightly menacing whisper]).

@MissConductUS, thank you 💕 he's 2.5 and a highly sensitive child. I'm really struggling to pinpoint what is going on with him atm. There's been a lot of pushing and snatching things from other children (all age-appropriate stuff) but also nail biting, refusing to nap at nursery and now the vomiting. He was in high spirits when I collected him this afternoon so it was all good in the end but I am worried about him.

I'm supposed to be studying, so instead I am perusing Hotels.com for weekends away. I stumbled upon this monstrosity which reminded me of that Simpson's episode where Bart has a clown bed.

Well that’s...unique. I hope.

Our first Laithwaites wine challenge arrived today. I had a glass of the red I opened on Sunday in one of my new stemless Dartington glasses that came with in the Laithwaites box. It is a classier version than drinking wine out of an Ikea tumbler, which I do now Sodding jumps up on the side tables in the living room (pale carpets 😱).

I have spotted a woodpecker a few times in the tree off my deck, and have heard woodpeckering in some other tree.

Had a raw and windy day here. I wore my lighter coat, unfortunately. Slightly higher temps expected tomorrow. I'm going to play it safe with my coats all the same.
