What is the age gap between you and your partner?

Had a conversation with a friend about how age gaps seem far more rare these days, compared to in the past. People mainly seem to be marrying people within a couple of years of their age. Purely anecdotal. Just made me curious!

Less than three weeks!

11 years. I'm older.

I am 49... Dh is 40.
Met when I was 41..

DP is 4.5 years older than me

14 years - he's older

Most people of my age group I know have an average of 2 year gap, with a range from a couple of months to 5 years.
A man I know in his 30s who does OLD says he mostly gets responses from women 10 years younger. Do most women in their 20s go for men that much older? If so, that's new to me.

He is nearly 3 years older than me

17 years, he is older. He was young/immature for his age and I was a weird mix of naive, immature but with an older outlook, we met in the middle really. Been together 35 years now, its only recently the age gap has shown/widened as his health is starting to fail.

DH is 2 months older than me.

4 years

I'm 2.5 years older. Same generation but I remember world events more clearly. Gives me an edge.

DP is 10 years older than me.
Maturity wise we’re about the same age!

I'm 6 months older.

DH is 2 years older than me but my previous partner to him was 8 years younger than me.

He's 5 years older.

17 yrs older than me.

DH is 8 months older.

I am 7 years older than DH. Married when he was almost 20. That was 50 years ago, still together.

I’m 3 years older. Women live longer so practically speaking better for the woman to be older than the man for more y to one together

Time together

7 years. But we were in 40s/50s when we got together.

DP is 4 years older...

16 years. He is younger

4 years older than him. I'm in my 50's but he's in his 40's... bummer! Lol I have two friends that are both 11 years older than their husbands.
